Face to face was so blessed to get a bass player just as awesome as matt riddle both no use and face to face benefited by the trade 😊👍👏❤🔥 I love Scott shiflett and his playing is so great(I saw face to face twice live with him playing...amazing and singing to while playing alot of the time 🤯😎🤘👏)

I’ve been a fan since Big Choice came out, and the minute Scott joined the band Face to Face became an all time favourite. Ignorance is Bliss is such a great album and Reactionary is sort of the one I feel encapsulates all that I love of this band. Correct me if I’m wrong but a variation of this bass theme shows up on Reactionary. Scott is my #1 for punk rock bassists! This is a fun vid to watch!!
It does remind me a bit of "Disappointed" but it's sort of Scott's signature sound....that sort of picking pattern is over a lot of their stuff...and I play riffs like that all the time cos I love it!!
I love the 'ring' that Scott uses in his playing. Bass guitar is known for its meaty growl but Scott makes it sing along with the music instead of using the instrument as bulk low-frequency filler material just for the sound (nothing wrong with doing that either if that's what you like, by the way.) Great musician he is!

Agreed!!!! Everybody thinks Freeman is the best and he’s great but Scotty is the best. I’ve seen em 15 times and they’re so incredible!!
