NOTE! It's been brought to my attention that you alternate title screens won't unlock if you quit the game before the credits finished! If this happened to you, replay the cup and wait for the credits to finish. Thanks to Varnami for letting us know!

I already have the gold standard mario kart, and 3stars in every cup for 50cc, 100cc, and 150cc and mirror. The only thing I have left to do now is beat the rest of the 200cc tracks with 3 stars. I've already beaten two of them ;)

Doesn't the score from higher difficulties carry over to lower ones if you complete them? Like, getting a 3 star gold cup in the Mushroom Cap in 200cc will get you the same 3 star gold cup in Mushroom Cap for every other difficulty if you haven't played them or the score is lower?

Thank god there isn't a 200cc mirror mode
Golden Glider: 5,000 Coins.
Golden Kart: At least one star in every race in Mirror mode.
Golden Tiers: Beat every time tril ghost on 150cc for all 48 Tracks.
Gold Mario: Get first place on all 12 cups on 200cc.
Alt Title Screen: first place at every grand pree including 200cc and Mirror mode.
And given the fact you can only get a max of 10 coins per race that means you gotta a least race 500 times (if you don't miss any coins) in order to get everything and 144 of those races will unlock the rest of those things (assuming you get first place and a star simultaneously in the 200cc and mirror grand prix and beat all the time ghosts before getting the glider) which would basically involve completing each grand prix 3 times (for the ghost races you are playing on each and every single track so it's basically completing every grand prix a third time) by obligation and the rest basically doing whatever you feel like doing in the game

im sure everyone knows this but just in case someone doesnt. if you get trophies in 150 cc mode they will also appear in 50-100 as well. Cant say the same about 200 down to 150-50.

FYI, after doing the time trials, you need to go to the main menu to unlock the tires. I was so confused at first.

I grinded like 2 entire days to unlock gold mario by getting 1st in all cups and ccs (With at least one star), but today I found out that Gold Mario isn’t on WiiU, and I’m not gonna buy a switch

And bowser glider
This combination is a very good one if you like to get a good start during most games
This combination is also good to recover after being hit by an item

How on earth do you beat the time trial ghosts like.
Here's a tip
To get at least one star in a grand prix you need 54 points, to get 54 points the minimum combinations are:
Two 1st places and two 2nd places
Three 1st places and one 3rd place
Three 1st places and one 4th place
If you get fifth place in any of the races then you will not get 54 points
But just try to get first in as many as possible
If you won all Gold Cups in every Grand Prix and didn't unlock the Alternate Title Screens, it's because you quit the game before the credits finished. For it to work, redo a cup and wait for the credits to finish.

If I do the time trials in 200cc, will I still get the gold tires? I thought that was the case so now I'm 7 cups into 200cc time trials, but this video is making me question that. I hope I didn't spend over 10 hours for nothing.

how to get coins faster
u need 4 controllers
put it on 200cc
go on mute city or big blue
don't even touch the controller
put the controllers on smart steering and auto drive
you get 40 coins each time you play on big blue or mute city this time super quick

This actually seems pretty easy. Easier than Mariokart 7 at least. I thought there was a good steering wheel you get for winning every race with tilt controls.

When you're on the Kart Select you can Toggle it from there by pressing the ZL button. You can also do this on the pause menu during a race.

I was really hoping for more levels or a combination race with all the levels like on double dash. It’s okay though. The over all awesomeness of this game makes up for it. Best Mario kart game since double dash 💯 not better than double dash, but definitely the best since.

I spent hours last Saturday trying to get Gold Mario just so I could be one of the first people to have him online. Lol
Triforce cup is impossible to beat 150cc
So I take it you unlock nothing when beating all the 200cc Staff Ghost? Some of them look really challenging, even for me.
When you do time trials on Mario Kart do you have to race against your ghost or someone else's ghost in order to unlock the golden tires
Finally did it and I dont know why I bothered. The Golden combo appears to have decent stats until you discover the hidden miniturbo stat. 😂
For the gold tires the character I highly suggest you should play is Shy Guy with the standard kart standard tires and regular old super glider trust me it works always trust the Shy Guy and the standard parts
