- This is my first time reacting to Kalandra, and it probably won't be my last! "The State of the World" is an extremely impactful song, and I've been replaying it ever since I listened to it. ♥

Their music can be simple but delicate as ocean ripples on a calm day and powerful as a swelling tide.
I'm with you, this band is amazing! I would highly recommend "Slow Motion" live at Gildehallen. Also, their music video released just previously to this one, "Bardaginn," is an absolute banger, especially if you like harder stuff.

If these two songs moved you then the song Borders is a must. It's Kalandra at their most stripped back, with similarly impactful lyrics. Ragnarök Films has made most of their music videos (including both the above). All of their music is worth a listen (Rolf's suggestions are great!).
My new obsession, love their music.
I listen to Kalandra nowadays even more than Aurora (she is the best though). Especially during walks in nature and taking photos. Especially their soundtrack to Kingdom Two Crowns, which is more of an ambient. As for recommendation, it is simple: any of their songs. Most of them are my favourites, depends on your preferences. For a similar band, definitely try London Grammar: great, emotional and colourful female vocals, harmonies, melodies and sound. And Haelos are also great, a little more dancy. I listened to KEXP performances of both of them a lot, but others could suggest something else probably. And you know Billie Eilish, right? She is deservedly famous :)

if it feels like a payer...maybe it is actually a prayer. a prayer that humanity says secretly because they are afraid to name a specific god! before you name one god, it's better to name none at all, so that it suits everyone! god says if you will repent of your evil deeds and confess them, I will hear from heaven and heal your land! The will for peace lies with each and every one of us! every man for himself - make the difference first! You can wait forever for the mainstream! I have to admit. I've seen some reaction videos to this song. But with you it was important for me to comment. This song made many people think. But I was impressed by how much i could see that you were listening with all your heart. You may not know God, but I wish you many blessings!
