Hey Jon. Good to see you back. Yeah I had a friend who lived in Florida years ago, I remember him telling me the off road scene was kinda shit there, atlest for rock crawlng and trail driving stuff, unlike parts of Cali, Utah, Colorado etc. I reckon you're gonna miss that snow bud 😒
Never going back out west! I just got an alignment after doing my steering rack. Still have to get the light out for steering angle sensor. As is, I can't turn ESP off but there's really no need.
Low range on & esp-abs off, is correct in the dirt-snow? Mercedes says that helps with the ets4 traction control for climbing (forward or reverse) to work better I believe? More fluid in reserve for the high pressure reservoir for the ets4 spinning wheel brake lock to work. I only turn the esp-abs on when descending something steep, or when I'm back on pavement.

Youre so adventurous. You drove all the way to Florida from the west, wow! Looks like your esp was off @2.15

Great vid. I like your ML. Have you ever had an issue with steering angle sensor? I have a 03 Ml500 it’s triggering the bas/esp light to come on?
