- 35 years since The Smiths last played Colchester and they're back, near as dammit!! The AWESOME Smyths brought their 'Smiths at 35' Tour to this Fantastic Venue and played the first album in Its entirety - Including this Haunting tune penned so brilliantly by Morrissey recounting the Moors Murders back in the 60's. Never thought I'd get to hear this played Live - Goosebumps every time I hear it and especially Live!!
Sounds eerily like morissey, great cover
It felt like things were off in the opening of the song but they all got in sync as the song progressed.
It's hard to be on stage and to cover a band as influential and "popularly obscure" as the... , is quite a feat. The voice and the sound only comes from well.. devout or long time vegetarians and something hidden in practise. This, however is at the heart of envy for those who silently wish or dare to stage. In flowered jubilation some of us are, watching and hearing. Easy to criticise, harder to do. You did well lads.
people bashing this are mental, obviously it sounds a bit distorted because of the camera mic but i bet if you were actually there it would sound very similar to the real thing
Wow just wow
Love this.
Well done I liked it lads
Arrasou! Amei 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
No "fracking" way. The carcass, the carcass! So glad I found this! ❤🏴😁🙂🇪🇺

Not for 1 second thought these were the Smiths.....
Not sure that's the point... Its "in appreciation of" rather than "in replacement of".

How pitiful. Can listen the real thing... go figure
Awful
Cringe
This is the biggest Smiths cover band there is. I’ve seen them live and they don’t disappoint at all.
