With these apartments you have to make 3X base rent. No elevators, it's a gated community. This apartment is located in the Spring Valley area here in Las Vegas. You will be responsible for making an NV Energy account, and you can set up your own internet as well.

I'm paying $1200 for a house in Vegas. Renting an apt is a joke. Jump through hoops to get qualified, put down hundreds in fees only to get a 10 month lease and then face a rent increase? Sad
@@MrChumpus If you a homeowner, why are you here? 😂 Don’t forget to factor in property taxes, homeowners insurance, possible PMI insurance, maintenance, occasional roof repairs, furnace repair, landscaping, etc… and spread that out over 12 months 😉 🥂
@@qikstar I'm not a home owner. That is what I pay for rent! I got a great deal. I'm here because at some point I will have to move out and I want an idea of where to go when that happens.

I think it would be a great idea if occasionally you would do section 8 apartments cheap ones and the nice ones? I am semi-retired now I have a single apartment section 8 pays $100 I only pay 300 !!! A lot of the retired people here are freaking out they have doubled every thing!! I was on a 3-year waiting list for Pacific pines apartments in Henderson the one-bedroom started at 700 2 years I recently checked and almost had a heart attack the one bedrooms are now 1650!!!
Yes I have done 1 section 8 already, ill defianlty be adding more to my channel 😊
If you have the section 8 housing “choice” voucher, you should be able to apply to most places if the units set aside for section 8 tenants are available. Hence, why there are waiting lists. Property managers could lease you into other market rate units, but that would be totally up to their discretion.

Do you know of anyone that offers a disabled veteran discount? I like the one you did in Sumerland with the garage but 2200 is a bit much for something I'm only going to use Oct-Apr.
@@ragingbullwinkle4188 I know most apartments don’t do discounts unfortunately. Have you seen the willowbrook apartments I’ve done? Great location and price is reasonable
@@carolinelopez91 I will look and see. What I liked about the one in Sumerland was the garage and you could almost walk to Red Rock.

So Im guessing it's about 50/50 I could make it from my car to my apartment without being shot, mugged, stabbed, or raped at this complex. 🤔
