Just want to share some of my wake up calls about Laudate of communication
♡ lots of experiences on dysfunctional relationships due to innocence or ignorance but mostly banggaan ng logic & emotions of both parties in communication: defensiveness or worst stubborn/rigid or pride or righteousness not wanting to give in even a bit to the other person's perspective or situation ; win-loss or loss -loss situation instead of win-win one
☆ Your anecdotes really make great impact in zeroing the psycho-spiritual points of the readings & gospel to be BTTY ... like it reminded me of mine w/c I hope others can take to hEARt
# an old man called attention of mother for her child not giving seat to oldies - mother apologized coz child is sick
#an old man opined " baligtad yata mundo" when I offered my seat to him & I replied "turo po ng nanay ko to respect the seniors" ... 😅 failed to add no gender bias ☝I being a woman - he³
# gave seat to a whimpering child & mom apologized coz autistic child & embarrassed coz I'm a senior...
started with telling her I'm a teacher & I understand episodes/levels of kids & parents then mom chatted on her caring journey of her autistic child ending with my affirmations of her esp that of not being ashamed of her child, acceptance ( most go into denial even the rich & professionals) thus finding ways to address the special needs of the child no matter how "unschooled", financially needy & exhausting on her side

Today we have made three (3) people happy the driver pakil to Siniloan and the two Jollibee cashier by understanding them on yheir mistakes and by giving them love by giving them the change to be clear no more arguing or questioning just understand them
