i am so happy we have both juries AND audience now - the thing with Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland and Germany always giving top points to Turkey just because those countries are flooded with Turks was a disgrace!

You're right. But I worry the system introduced in 2016 has given power back to that kind of bloc voting. I guess we'll see.

I in the UK voted 12 points for Switzerland - Vanilla Ninja singing ‘Cool Vibes’. After they didn’t win I bought all their albums and became a big fan. They sing in English. Top band with the incredible singer Lenna Kuurmaa. One of the best live singers in the World today. I suggest you listen their song here!

Sweden votes for Norway. Norway vote for Sweden. Finland vote for Denmark, Denmark votes for Iceland. And Iceland votes for Finland. All the nordic countries vote for each other. It's so hilarious in final results

Voting patterns can never be seen more clearly than here. A range of Western countries get to vote in order, and points almost exclusively are divided between the countries such as Israel, Malta, Switzerland, Latvia, Denmark, Norway with the odd huge vote to Turkey and Greece due to disporia. Then as soon as the voting swings to a Baltic or Eastern Country the points swing to Serbia, Bosnia and Greece and Turkey it becomes comical and easy to predict, it started the the televote :(

This is no fun you can almost always count on 12 points to Turkey from Netherlands and 10/12 points from Iceland to Denmark no matter how bad the songs are and 12 points from Belarus to Russia and 12 points from Azerbaijan to Turkey and VS and 12 points from Greece to Cyprus is like reading an old and rotten script.

Another perfect example of Terry Wogan's lack of knowledge. Norway is not a baltic country. If you're going to make claims about bloc voting, make sure you have a basic knowledge of geography before you start calling neighbour voting.

Looks like British commentary doesn`t like Turkey so much, anytime Turkey got points he has something to say.. I watched 2003 and 2004 votings as well..

Terry always had it in for some countries. The ones in particular are Turkey, Bosnia-Herzegovina (actually, scrap that, all the Balkan countries) and Denmark.
