There is no "Myanmar area" in Borneo, bro! Myanmar (Burma) is a country by itself, Borneo is a huge Indonesian island about 3000km south of it. Also much colder than Borneo, you may even see close to (but no) freezing in Dario habitat in northern Myanmar.
Really enjoyed this, what amazing fish, stunning .That tank is breathtaking the plants are fantastic .Youve done an amazing job on it,real pro aquascaping. Will done and look forward to more from you.Thankyou.👍👍
Thanks mate that means a lot and I'm glad you enjoyed it! The scape is getting there. Getting on top of the algae now. Dont worry plenty more to come. Thanks for watching mate 👍
Can't wait to get my guys next week! Been looking everywhere in the UK for well over a year and found some! Ordered 1 male/4 females 😁 setting their tank up today
Amazing news. Its always very exciting to get new fish, especially if you have been looking for them for ages. Where did you find them in the end? Good luck with them mate, im sure you will love them
@@JonsRainforestRoom thanks buddy! 😁I've ordered them from Riverpark Aquatics. They'll be going in a 65L scaped tank. Would that be bug enough? If not, I've got more than enough bigger tanks to put them in 😅
Thanks very much mate I really appreciate that. Dont worry there is a load of fish content coming this year. As we speak I'm putting together a rack for 3 more scapes. Thanks for watching and welcome to the channel 😁
How are the boraras keeping up with the low temp ? I just got some Darios and I am keeping them with boraras too . I am keeping them at around 25 at the moment ...
Hey Laura. They are all doing really well and I have the tank set to 24 at the moment. I'm thinking of getting more bora for this tank. How are you finding the darios?
I have a 55g and 3 10g tanks. Suppose I can add these to my main feature tank and whenever I want to breed something like the shrimp or nano’s that are in the same tank, I can just move them into one of the smaller 10g tanks to breed and let them grow. Then shift some on and add some back into my main tank when they are big enough?
As beautiful little tank as I have seen , and lovely little Dario's . I have a couple of these fish on hold for me at my local f/s and they will be joining my Betta fish in his 55 ltr tank ( he did have an Otto in with him at the shop with no problems) fully cycled with an APSolutions hang on back canister flow turned right down so fingers crossed the three of them will be happy and healthy in there 😀
Wow great job, perfect explainations - thanks a lot. We have big difficulties to get females in Germany. How about in your country? I bought 3 Pairs of them and got 6 males in the end :(
I know that's what I thought but I've noticed a black mark on the dorsal fin which should make it a male. Thanks mate its getting there and getting the algae under control 👍
@@JonsRainforestRoom Yup I'm very excited haha, he messaged me asking if he could upload my video to his chanel. I think he plans on uploading peoples videos from smaller chanels, making this a side series thing :)

Hey again Jon, Loving all your recent videos! Just want a bit of advice if that's ok? My darios came to me safe and well (apart from 1 which died yesterday due to cotton wool mouth 😭). I've noticed they're all males and the only female I had was the one that died. You don't happen to know anywhere where I can source more of these lil guys as I'm desperate for females? I understand they're harder to find than males but if you can point me in the right direction, it would be muchly appreciated! Many thanks, Lewis 🙂
Nice tank and the colours on those fish are incredible. But please don't tell people that water parameters don't matter - these are a soft water species, putting them in hard water will harm them and eventually kill them in the medium to long term! Whilst I am also being 'that person' - a 10 to 12 hour photo period on a 'normal' (ie, not heavily planted) tank with easy to care for plants or no plants at all WILL absolutely result in algae issues. 6 to 8 hours max, possibly less. If you're a low-maintanence easy care plant person, you'll also find anubias yellow and go awful in high light.

That tank should be more than enough for them. As long as they have plenty of hiding spaces so they can create territories if they choose to 👍
@@JonsRainforestRoom awesome stuff!
Thanks for the replies back.
Great content by the way! 🤘
No problem mate, anytime! Thanks very much I really appreciate that 🙏
Hi. Great video mate. Helpful. Would the scarlet badis and the tiger badis act the same together. Like hierarchy wise? Cheers
Gracias por la información. Saludos.

Fish aren’t really my bag, but enjoyed this. I like things a little quirky and different from norm, and those fish are in that category. Good vid pal!
I think you need a fish tank in your life Tim 😉
I'm glad you like the video and the fish mate 👍
Really high quality content, you definitely deserve more views! That aquscape is perfect, have you got a breakdown of how you scaped it?

Was thinking about getting something like that but I was worried about the shrimp so I diddent get it I got tetras and now I regret it
