@@meganc3818 to know my mom was to love her. She brought tremendous value to anyone she cared about. I live my life based off what I know would make her proud. If i do that, I know I’ll be ok!
Can’t help but feel Fouad was very emotionally invested in Justin. Leaving the company would have stung, but joining HD would have been the tipping point.
That’s what you get for caring. Justin is a hard nosed business man. He’s all about the money. Nothing wrong with that at all either. Other value friendship etc over money. Not Justin.
That’s why Fouad is a terrible business man. He get to emotionally close to all of the athletes he signs. He needs to draw a line because business and friends and not intertwine them.
Great podcast! Justin is a true gentleman of the sport and his authenticity and personality just jumps out the screen. I don’t know him personally but I relate a lot to him. I look forward to working with him and consider myself lucky to have him in my corner!
Like many in this comment section, I became a fan of Justin through Fouad’s podcast. My immediate impression is that Justin seems much more in his element here and on the level of these guys. He’s a chill, cerebral guy and by my observation he seems more himself here. Whereas on Fouad’s podcast he was often on the receiving end of some cringy, inconsiderate and immature comments from some of the guests and the host himself. He was a good sport about it but it became tiresome and didn’t seem like the right fit. I applaud his decision to change environments.
It's true .. I was mad when I first heard him leaving Hosstile, I commented on a post n Justin replied, now watching these few podcasts with him on, I realise this is his "home" he's way more natural here, whereas he seemed almost on defense mode with Hosstile, anywho fuck much love Justin, imagine having everyone's "opinions" and thoughts, I wouldn't be able to handle it!
@@IDiggPattyMayonnaise yeah no shit. Impression is like saying opinion. It’s not rooted in fact, just our own perception. Justin could be miserable on the inside and just hiding it well. What point are you making?
Holy mackerel! What a wonderful podcast and absolute pleasure listening to Justin speak and share his insight and stories without the constant interruption, belittling and being baited into silly arguments! I loved Justin on Bro Chat, however he was never given the opportunity to truly open up and share his story with the fans. The constant bullying from the former host was over the top and frustrating to listen to. I understand Justin was and is new to bodybuilding in a sense, however he is not new to life and has the experience and maturity to really share and contribute wisdom and knowledge in both training and life. I am truly happy Justin is with HD now and this group of guys. The camaraderie and respect amongst this crew really shines through, much luck and success to both Justin and HD!!! God Bless You Guys, stay strong! ❤️💪🙏
Appreciate the kind words man. I’m glad you enjoyed the episode. I definitely feel I’m in the right place here with HD… these two gentlemen are both class acts. They made it easy to share my story and insights on life training etc.
Appreciate you sharing Justin, been through alot myself. At 18 broke my back and came out of surgery weighing 110lbs, next year my dad was killed. I'm 33 now, was in contest shape last summer but then needed emergency gallbladder surgery... now I'm needing a shoulder surgery I'm putting off with cortisone shots. Off gear now trying to get my girl pregnant and being natty this long, watching my body change and not recovering has been such shit... pushing through it all still 🙏🏼

Such a great episode! Thank you Justin for sharing your story, you're an inspiration! Can't wait to see you shock the world very soon when you hit the stage.
Regardless of what happened between Fouad and Justin ... there's one thing no one's talking about. Fouad gave justin a platform for over a year when he took 2022 off and to compete in 2023.. his debut was much anticipated and would have gained some traction for both his fans and hosstile. Him choosing to leave a few months out, I'd be pissed too
Justin and I have so much in common lol , love bmx and bodybuilding and the 2 dont mix very well , broke my femur and tibia , and many other bone and the gym is the only way i got me body working again . keep killing it bro!
Justin is a genuinely good guy. I can tell, man! Have been a fan for quite some time now. So is Fouad though. Two of my favourite people these. So sad for me to see them parting ways
I think Justin should have given some credit for Hosstile and Fouad for giving him the platform to be where he at today. I don’t think HD would have signed him if he did not have that fan base that he built through Fouad’s podcast. Nothing to be taken away from his work ethic and how he represents himself, I just feel like it would have looked much better if he gave credit when it’s due.
I appreciate your point of view, but I must say that I’ve shown hosstile and Fouad plenty of appreciation on my own platforms. Instagram posts, youtube videos etc… Utilizing my new supplement sponsors platform to speak about my previous supplement company didn’t seem appropriate. This podcast was a way to introduce me to their audience so I focused on that. Secondly Dorian had reached out and sent me supplements to try before Hosstile ever signed me as an athlete, so your statement about HD not signing me if it wasn’t for Hosstile simply isn’t true. Dorian and I have been acquainted for several years.
@@JustinShier thanks for taking the time to clarify things from your perspective, much appreciated!! I wish you all the best with HD and I’m sure you will make your fans proud no matter where you go

Justin strikes me as a solid dude. Not to make this about Fouad, but the common factor between all these athletes that leave is him. He choses to run his business this way where as he says "everyone are friends", but all I see here is Justin getting super close with Dorian, so it is not a unique thing to Hosstile. The issue is (I would estimate) Fouad expects athletes to put the friendship over everything else while working for him which might allow him to get some breaks and additional effort/investment from athletes without the appropriate remuneration.
I find it interesting that the guy switched companies and we can hear the "real" him. Hard to get to know how one is wired, with 4 other people on a podcast (Hostile)
