The next time you plan to travel to Bamberg I recommend to get off of the autobahn at exit #26 Buttenheim and visit the St.Georgen Bräu restaurant for a typical Franconian meal. I had the best 'Schäuferle' (pig shoulder) dish of my life during my stay in Franconia in 1990.
Bamberg is a typical university city with a lot of international students, because of that they offer very diverse things for young people. You can make a diploma for beer there for example. You had some nice weather ☺️😎 Suggestions could be Würzburg, Passau, Regensburg in Bavaria, Lindau am Bodensee in Baden Württemberg, Freiburg im Breisgau Baden Württemberg, Salzburg, Linz, Innsbruck in Austria Praque in the Czech Republic, Metz or Strasbourg in France. Nürnberg and Dresden for the Christmas markets in December.
