Hey Cathy another stunning piece. I am watching to keep my spirits up in the hope that one day I might really start doing some artwork like yours. I have some chronic health conditions which make that idea very challenging but your videos give me hope and keep me happy.
Just picking your brains again. When you laid the first gold down at the top what was in your canvas. Was there already a clear resin layer of are you pouring in a dry white canvas/board? Thanks.

Hi Cathy, Very interesting work. I like the depth you are getting from mulitple layers of resin. Do you know it its possible to get enough depth, after pouring a 1/4" or so resin layer, to cut into the dry surface to use as a plate for etching? I'm trying to create unique frames but want to develop a series of long patterns that I can use to press into the flat wood areas (after routing the moulding) then drybrush over that to enhance the effect. It seems like resin would be a good choice, if it can be cut 1/8" inch or so deep. With that scalpel, that just might work, or my dremel. Thanks!
