Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 - Samsung is ready to launch the galaxy z fold 6. And the first set of handson videos were out. Showing off the complete design which I shared earlier. But there is a big downside. As people wanted a wider cover display on z fold 6. But seems like we are not going to see a wider cover display on z fold 6. Also, if you are looking for SPEN support then you might also be disappointed by z fold 6.

It sucks at the screen is not much bigger in the front, but my fold two is getting dated so I’m gonna get this fold six.

I don't understand why everyone complains about the front display being small. If you want a bigger display, then open the phone! That's the entire point of it. The best part of the outer display is the quick one handed use of it. And then when you need a bigger display cuz you are relaxing, open it up.
I've used Samsung for many years, from the note 2 to the current fold 4. Will be looking forward toothed one plus open 2 next year. Samsung is getting lazy and complacent and taking his customers for granted 😢 pity.
Same here. Note 2 to Fold 5, but I may discontinue come next year. I love Samsung's software, but these incremental changes are a joke.

I agree. Nothing changes to the fold. All they did was make the hinge stronger. Same exact model with small changes for the last 5 years. Samsung is not even trying to put the flagship camera into their most expensive phone.

Samsung hadn't learned people wanted the wider outer screen, longer battery life and better cameras. It's a pass for me. I will wait for the S25U

with all the almost guaranteed issues with the hinge and screen, its actually insane to buy these foldable phones with a price tag of around 2 grand
Samsung surely carried out its market research, and if it maintains almost the same screen proportion, it is because the consumer feels comfortable as it is.
I don't think so, there are couple of factors involved in it. I personally don't have issue with narrow cover display. But most or I should say 90% of the people want a wider cover display and 100% of the people want ULTRA cameras.
And if you think Samsung did market research. Yes, they did and that is the reason to release a new z fold 6 slim later this year or early next year. And they will put a wider cover display on slim version
I know someone who has one and just refuses to fold it because the outer display is so useless.
That is bs korea found out they r the ish since fold came out no one can really compare to they milking it. Lota people complain on samsung forum but just cause its 1 mil out of 200mil buyers who take the time or know how to complain they figure its nothing. And store best ideas on days where theres real competition

What samsung had done : "Same as Z fold 5 just a newer SOC"

I've got a Z Fold 5, and I would have loved to buy the 6, but now I'm not so sure anymore. I was expecting a bit more hardware-wise, but I guess we'll have to see.
Wait and see. If you think it is a worthy upgrade then go for it. Else I think z fold 5 is still a great option or if you stick with your fold 5 and wait for z fold 6 slim which will feature a wider cover display but no SPEN support.
@DKHDOfficial, thanks for the reply. I appreciate your opinion, but even if I don't use the slim S Pen I've got often, when I do, I love it, so it's kind of a dealbreaker for me :)
been waiting for the wider cover screen, that's my priority #1 feature wishlist. 2nd wishlist are bigger battery and/or faster charge. 3rd is camera improvements. So i am rather disappointed with fold 6 with the information released. i think vivo x fold pro 3 is going to be where I am going to spend my money on at the moment.
Still using my Note 20 Ultra. The only reason I haven't upgraded to a Fold is due to the camera not matching up with its non folding counterparts. If they can bring the camera up to par, it's an instant buy for me.

To be honest, if Samsung agrees to listen or care about consumers a little, just change the upgrade to both larger screens like other companies and camera cameras upgraded like his S ultra series, because the folds of the screen do not affect much, just that even if the price increases, customers are ready to spend money to buy in happiness and happiness. 😅😅
can u make a video on the durability of ultra thin glass, the hinge tension on display when it fold and unfolds and screen protector peeling off in the crease
I did a durability section in my previous videos. Where I shared Samsung is going to change the UTG. Almost 50% increase in thickness. Which makes it better and way more durable compare to previous gen according to internal source.

nah... I can agree that the narrow screen is great, too, because I recall having the Note 20 Ultra, and that thing was rather hard to use one-handed, ESPECIALLY with a case. I mean, could you imagine having to hold a phone that wide with double the thickness? I mean, sure, the front screen could be a SMIDGE wider, but if they end up making it too wide, what would be the point of having a big inner display (outside of maybe some media consumption and mobile gaming) when you can just use the front display for all your major tasks?

@@HoldMyBeerFam can be for me i dislike the square form of other smartphones like the google fold and other chinese foldables when u fold them open almost all content is cut of and has massive black bars. Samsung has them to but its less cuz even when open its still narrower.

Sources suggest yes, the cover display will come with gorilla glass armor which has anti reflective properties.

How long do foldable phones last on average? It's a lot of money and I hope it's durable. Also it doesn't seem like Samsung understood the assignment that a new phone is supposed to be an upgrade from the previous. Not the same phone again lol. I'm using a Note10 plus aura still. I love it so 😄
It's pretty durable. I have the fold 4. Believe it or not, you won't be using the inner screen as much as you think. For me, I only use the inner screen for RUclips and Netflix. Occasionally Facebook.
@@quy24 Thanks for your input! I heard the life of fold and flip phones were short like 2 to 3 years because of the flipping of the phone it will eventually break at the crease. I was considering upgrading my Note10 plus to the Fold 6 but idk. It doesn't seem like an upgrade so I'm going to wait for iphone16 PM to come out before I make a decision.
@kendregab7328 so far mine is going pretty good. The hinge is still sturdy. No signs or it bring flimsy, or loss of stiffness. I tend to play with with phone like opening and closing it out of habits. And I'll slam it pretty hard cause it makes a satisfying sound. Still going strong today lol

I got vivo x fold 3 pro it's way better than samsung. I had the z fold 5, but I sold it because I can't stand that outa screen display. It's too narrow 😢 it's worth the upgrade

not upgrading from the fold 3, no real upgrades. Samsung has gotten stagnant. chinese foldable maybe. all we wanted was a wider screen, how hard is that?? it's annoying af to text on the external front screen.

This is such a disappointment from Samsung. We Flip and Fold users haven't got any major upgrades since at least 3 years. Its almost the same phone every year. I wanted to upgrade this time but I really don't want to. Too bad Samsung
If the fold 6 had a bigger cover display, there would be no doubt to anyone that it would sell way more units than the fold 5. I can't understand why samsung didn't at least match their competition at least. It's crazy to me they are ok with sub par upgrades. I will not be buying a samsung fold anything until they at least try to do better with the screen and battery specs. So content with having the same old crap with no actual innovation.

Why are ppl so dense?.... the point of the outside screen being that way is so ppl use the inner screen more than the outer .... that outer screen is perfect enough for quick glances but is is not the main screen ..... whats the point of a wide phone that opens wider smh.
Everybody uses their phone while driving, that is why they want a fatter screen on the front. You can’t use two hands and text while you’re driving. That would be a freaking nightmare.

"The point" is to have a 2-in-1 device. A smartphone that can turn into a tablet. That is whole idea of what a foldable device should be. Not just a portable tablet. The consumer should only have to open the device when they want to (when they need a tablet) . They should not be forced to open it in order to practically get any use out of the device. This is why Samsung no longer holds the top place in the foldable market and why the OPO was named the best foldable of the year last year according to most reviewers. The OPO is truly a 2-in-1 device-- what a foldable should be.
