Get a rock climbing anchor to lock it one of those off shore rocks and a turn buckle pulley then hook winch to that and it will pull u straight out
But that seems like a lot of work for little gain from just cutting out like your doing
Yeah Jonathan, We will be improving our set ups soon and this idea would be awesome. We bought a snatch block and a sand anchor with a buoy on top of it so things should get interesting

Does seem like great invention for skimming but if you mounted a pulley way out from shore you would get a better pull angle?
Have a local surf spot where could get a tow across river mouth at high tide, if I had a winch!

Its a bit pricey, but it really is revolutionary
This winch cost $5k loool thats a crazy price. Rewinch winch is better only 1200 to 2k got lots of add ons as well and it can hit 80mph.
