This is a set I've been looking forward to buying for a long time! The design is so freaky and eerie, so different from convenient gunpla. Can't wait to build it.
This was a cool review, I'm pretty new to Gunpla (only built a few HG and SD). So I found your channel through one of your SD reviews, but I really enjoy seeing how beautiful these superior grade builds look. I look forward to more of your videos!
Glad to have more people joining the hobby:) You can consider an RG Zeong since it's still quite friendly to starting builders --- and some RG kits can be quite obnoxious to build... Thank you for your support! I'll make sure to keep working on new videos!
Great review! I ordered the Last Shooting set because I love love love the thruster effects. On a side note, do you know if beam effects will work in the waist beam cannons? I haven't heard of anyone trying that
I really appreciate the warnings on attachment orientations like for the arms and head. If/when you decide to review the rg sazabi, please also show the shoulder issue in detail - I don't believe any channel ever inspected that (especially visually)- everyone just casually mentions it without actually showing the issue. I still haven't bought it because of the ornamental/floral shoulder design.
@@HobbyClubhouse as far as I have checked - it's the shoulder joint connection to the torso - some reviews have mentioned it was about getting the correct orientation ( probably similar to those arm/head you pointed out in zeong - with a notch - maybe? ), and others mentioned it's about properly fitting the connection. atm I have not seen anyone actually demo the proper connection.
I really want to get a Zeong and was thinking of getting the HG one but I feel like you get a little bit more with this set the three stands are nice. I like how you had both the old kit HG kit and the new RG kit to see the size difference. Do you think we will get the perfect Zeong from this kit some day or get this kit in different colors? I would like to see a Zeong High Mobility Conversion Kit for this set. I know it was in one video game and I think it would be a nice add on to this set. Thanks for the great review.
Glad you enjoyed the review:) I think Bandai wants to make the Perfect Zeong for sure. As for different colors, the Zeong itself doesn't have a ton of alternative paint jobs - there is the clear colored one sold in Gundam Base which is sort of interesting. Maybe they'll do a Char's color one. Personally I'd love for one to be white like the Psycommu Test High Mobility Zaku
The kit really got some love from the engineers and it looks nice out of the box. Everyone's trying to get one so it's sold out in a lot of places. I'll certainly continue to work hard on videos, so thank you for your support!
Yes, same for where i am , they sold out rather quickly , shockingly . Have to this kit somewhere else online , after watching both of your review on this particular MS , i really want to get myself a Zeong!
Can you please tell me how to apply the stickers? They seem like just stick on. But I can't seem to see the edges where they come off the sheet! Like the very first one (the eye sticker), it removed with a lot of extra edge areas, do I just wrap it around the circle ?
The stickers can be really small and those will have a lot of extra clear bits on the edge. Yeah, you need to tuck them around edges whenever you can - but if you have a good knife, it's best to trim them off. Test it on a few unimportant ones and you'll get the hang of it real quick
@@HobbyClubhouse I can't speak for other builders, but personally, I'm going ~8 hours on RGs and that's during the time before I sanded and buffed parts.
maybe rg gelgood would be safe, but god, I'd love to see it one day. Unfortunately this line is almost exclusive to the already very popular designs... same with Re/100, when it finally took off (Zaku FZ is great, just like the Shokew), it was quitely killed off. Also, I'd disagree on one thing - I've never really liked zeong nor cared about it, but this RG looks so good that I've even invested in the last shooting ver. (during a discount period ofc).
I know what you mean, the RG line is such a costly risk that Bandai only ever makes kits with broad appeal. It's twice as sad because they teased the Gouf before but the Z'gok not selling well probably put those plans in the burner forever
@@HobbyClubhouse I think that gouf was killed by both reception of the RG zaku frame (because I'm 100% they planned to reuse it, same with 78-2 frame and the RG GM) and the HG revive line plans. Still, I'd love to see them one day. Fortunately there's only few super-safe MS left to turn them into RG, so maybe one day we'll see all those grunts and zeon machines :P Choosing zeong over Alex/Ez8, Ground gundam/ZZ already felt desperate.
I hope sales of the Z-Gok aren't the real reason Bandai cancelled the Gouf, GM and Gundam Ground Type. That would be pretty stupid. Anyone with a brain in their corporation should have been able to look at sales of the other versions. I can't believe they ever made the RG Z'Gok in the first place. If they thought Char's units were popular enough just because of him, they should have gone to the Gelgoog or Hyaku Shiki as the next one after the Zaku. A RG Hyaku Shiki would be super popular, but I don't know what in the world made them think the Z'Gok was worth doing at all. Of course, they threw away more money on the dumb choice to not release the Z'Gok in normal colors like they did the Zaku. It's good thing for them they have no competition, because their choices on what to release and how aren't good. Even here with this. I have zero interest in building the Zeong. I barely have enough passing interest to watch a review of it... meanwhile that Gouf that still remains popular never showed up. Oh well, they would have just pissed a bunch of people off when they made the Gouf Custom a P-Bandai release anyway. Bandai: Genius level engineers, idiot level product management.

I got mine this week. Just finished the RG Eva Unit 01 DX kit will be starting this one ASAP. The Real Grades are getting better with every release
The EVAs and Zeong both share a good design where small pieces don't fall off everywhere and you can handle the kit and enjoy them:)
@@HobbyClubhouse Yes! I retired my RG RX-78-2 Thing exploded every time I looked at it 😀
Hope all is well. Really enjoyed your content.

The beams and thrust effects are the main thing I want from the last shooting box if I get a rg zeong
Yeah, those are frustratingly exclusive to that set and there aren't any substitutions
@@HobbyClubhouse bandai said they are discontinuing the effect set after its limited run
When Japan reopens again, I will go there ASAP and buy this.
I don't dare to imagine how many things I'd buy if I went there...

I can't wait to get one of these
I heard many countries have had delayed shipping on the RG Zeong so it's been a bit hard to find. Hope you've secured one successfully:)
Hi, how is this kit’s size compared to regular MG? Thanks
I never really liked the zeong design but this RG is changing my mind
He changed from a vertical flying tower to something with pretty cool articulation. I personally really love the movable eye

fabulous kits
Whenever I get the money im getting one of these to put with my hg zeong
You should consider an RX-78 to go with each of them too

Perfect number
Omg when is this going to be released in NA????
I think the next wave of stock is coming soon:) though they might also get picked clean immediately by the bots and crazy people online...
a bit over 3 hours? you're a monster, mr. hobby
Is that long or short though? I build quite slow compared to a lot of people

Zgok not being successful hurts. It's a great kit and the others deserve their own rg design!
These rg zeong the details is just like on the gundam thunderbolt and i gonna get one of these kit. XD

The thiccest boi with baund doc trailing behind 😅
Add some feet and their shapes are pretty similar too with the big skirt
They won’t make a perfect zeong cuz they made it so you can use the mg dom legs to make it they might make a sword add on set tho
There really have been a few builds of it using the MG Dom legs already. They look ALMOST correct but frustratingly not entirely
I love your review, but I think you forgot the wires for inner thrusters of the kit
The hand looks like thanos infinity gauntlet.
It really does with the big glove(?) part and the chunky fingers
imagine, rg neue ziel oooff
