Is the beam tomahawk the one from the Rg Sazabi? Or a scaled up version?

I saw this kit at the store recently and passed on it because i already built the origin version but I think i will pick it up when i go back

Was the Gundam Hi-Nu 1/144 RG easy to put together?

Most Getter-1's including Shin Getter 1 are 50 meters tall which will make them about 2 times the size of the Xi. Assuming the Getter Arc is the same, it should mean that this kit is roughly half the size it should be if it were 1/144. The Getter Arc is pretty much just a weaker but more stable Shin Getter which means it should be around the same size. One scene I found that makes the scale clearer is the scene where Future Musashi steps out of his helicopter and looks up to the Arc from ground level. That things the size of a 12 story building.

I never know that Gundam marker would be dissolved with lacquer top coat. Is that why you need mr hobby top coat?

I just got the regular box release of the EG strike and funny thing is it lacks the Knifes. Like you get the Rifle and Shield but you missed out on the Knifes and the part of the runner it's on is just missing. Like, I understand the RX-78 or the Nu not getting beam sabers since it would take them a sapperate different clear runner for it, But the Strike had it from the start and just got taken away I'm not even a seed fan, I just wanted to give my 30MS girls a realistic-ish sized combat knifes....

But what if i cant remove the two parts? Like the Mg tallgeese on the lower torso part, the one that sags a bit?

Whenever I'm thinking about the sad state of the Turn A kits, I feel like Bandai/Sunrise just outright hates it. The two modern MGs havent seen a reprint in a while, and not to speak about all the non-grades. I'd love to get my hands on the NGs at least.

Bandai Asia was right about one thing, a lot of kids would prefer action figures over model kits. I remember owning an NG Double X back in the day and its left arm and all of its heat fins never stood a chance (Surprisingly, the Satellite Cannon survived). in comparison my MSIA Strike survives to this day with only scratches.

Great little kits. The transparent kits can be fixed with some paint/primer. I would glue these kits on the same round bases used by tabletop minis. I wonder if they are the same scale as the upcoming Gundam Assemble tabletop game.

I think you put the kneecaps on the wrong side. They should be slanting inwards.

3:33-adding the word “buster” to the name of a weapon (Buster Rifle, Buster Sword) or making it a part of a character’s name (Buster-Blader, Gunbuster) seems to be a common trope in Japanese pop culture and media.

Here’s a question. I usually only do RG’s because I prefer the smaller scale compared to the MG’s, but as we know, RG’s usually don’t expand past the main hero and main villain. As I would like the entire group from Wing, and have no experience with the HGAC or HGUC lines, are these worth it? I remember earlier kids back in the day with awful polycaps that turned very loose very quick. Do these still have the same problems? Sorry for the noob question. I definitely like the design that is more cartoon accurate and simple compared to the sometimes overly detailed RG’s but I’m not yet sure if I want to pull the trigger on these.

I just got the MSZ-006 Z-Gundam from this series as well. It looks very new, almost mint. I thought it might be a reproduction, but I couldn’t find any details about a new production date. If it’s truly from 1985, I’m absolutely thrilled!

After watching this video, im somewhat disappointed with the structural problems you've mentioned. But since this is my first and most favorite Gundam Model, the Buster, im willing to overlook it and am just plainly excited to put it in my shelf as first of my soon to come collection of gunpla. Overall solid and informative review!

To be fair to those shouder missiles, they were only ever used in one episode, and that was for the fight against Patulia where every amount of ammo was needed. Witz never used it again and it was replaced by the Wing Beam Cannons from the Airmaster Burst. Also you forgot to adjust the legs while it's transformed. It goes up a bit like the zetas and helps make the suits silhouette more distinct.

How I wish i've seen your video before doing some panel lining/top coating on my Nu Ver Ka kit. I used the same pour type marker you had on the video (the complete set) and top coated my kit with a matt finish by Mr. Hobby and lo and behold, it smeared and bleed.. It's not too bad but it is visible. I'd just keep it like a "shadow" effect 😅

been using it for a year and so far it feels fine for me and i dont think ill replace it for a while until atleast it broke

Uh i dont know if you’re gonna see this or respond to this but im gonna ask anyway. I broke the arm peg of Iria’s Zaku (yes the RfV one), it isn’t exactly easy because uh, the base is already tiny to begin with and the only leftovers of the ‘peg’ is inside the socket, considering how the peg is quite short and the socket is pretty deep.

I wish the Sazabi was a bit sleeker, chubby Suits don't fit Char that well. But hey we got the Sinanju later.
