Good Afternoon Suzanne, This is Emily's mom from the Panera group, and you have been such an inspiration to her. She admires you soo much. She spends day and night knitting. You have been so generous and kind to her and I want to say how much it is appreciated by my husband and I. She's an old soul and the ladies you taught have given her a lot of their time and attention. She's only twenty-two and she loves knitting. Thank You for these Channels and Classes you offer. I hope more people find you and explore their artistic side. Rachele Allmon

I watch both of you all the time and was shocked to find this video! I love seeing what you go through to record the videos. You both have so much to do with creating these videos. Learning that software and editing make me dizzy. I really appreciate that both of you go through this sharing your fabulous knowledge of knitting. This was a treat! Thank you.

Suzanne. If you still have videos that have ads in the middle you can batch change them. You need to go into Edit then Add Settings then Update type/location of ads. Apparently you can change them all at once. One of the channels my husband watches gave the information, Louis Rossmann channel, the video is RUclips is killing itself by implementing bad ideas.... the description of how to do it is in the comments below the video.

Thank you. I went to that video and watched it. He is having the same problem that I am, with them retroactively changing the settings. It is not a batch fix, unfortunately. You would need to watch the video to get a great explanation of the issue. I am slowly working on getting the mid-roll ads removed, one edit at a time. Thank you for trying to help me, I really appreciate it.

Suzanne - Off the Cuff One of the comments below the video gives the instructions to batch change. It’s in the first comment below Louis’ pinned post, posted by NT Productions. It seems to have worked for Louis, hope it might help.

Hey Suzanne and Roxanne, I’m now catching up and I love all the nitty-gritty of your production methods. So on to the topics. The steeking with the crochet-stitch-lock-down I learned from an Icelandic knitter. Great method for making some Cardigans. Knitting pieces flat instead of in the round, I learned that flat allows for a stronger constructed garment that holds its form better unless you’re making a Yoke-Cardigan. About Back-Stitch versus Mattress Stitch, I like the stronger construction of Back-Stitch for myself. About Acrylic, in the 1970’s-1980’s all the store bought sweaters were acrylic and they make my skin break out. I also learned that Tiny Bits of Synthetic Fibres are now to be found Contaminating all of the soil around the world and getting into the food sources. Humans and animals are consuming bits of synthetic fibres everyday now, so that is sad. Your parents were right even then.

I really appreciated seeing these behind the scenes setups. I have been aware that it's a lot of work to make and edit videos, but seeing it set up like this is really an eyeopener. I can't even take a good photo of a sweater for Ravelry or Instagram. I don't have good lighting or backgrounds, and it's so frustrating.

Great, yes, it is a bit of work and we are constantly trying to improve our setup, just like our knitting.

There is nothing wrong with using today’s lovely acrylics. They aren’t going to hurt you in any way.... They are generally affordable...natural fibers are not...and easy care is important to busy moms. Of course Yiu are a yarn snob ... acrylics is not a four letter word. Today’s acrylics, and acrylic/wool blends are often super soft, and will not irritate a baby’s sensitive skin.

I also watched the video but I didn’t hear where a judgement was made about acrylic yarn. Rather, what I heard was a question being read about blocking acrylic yarn, and Suzanne saying she doesn’t knit with acrylic yarn, but there wasn’t any judgement. Just a question and answer. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sandy Grogg, I don’t use acrylics and I’m Not a yarn snob. Acrylic irritates my skin and makes it break out. How I know that? Because in the late 1970’s and 1980’s all the sweaters in the stores were acrylic and my skin would break out. So there. I can only wear natural fibres comfortably. Also her parents were right. Synthetic fibres are now destroying the environment in a micro to macro level. I pay attention to environmental developments in the world.
