Every time he says "I can't remember" or "I don't know," I know that's a lie for the convenience of the presentation. The man knows.

This is such a good video. Simultaneously awfully presented and insanely engaging. He's got this strange persona which is insanely self deprecating and self doubting but then also strangely arrogant in places? He's the most engaging enigma in this whole industry haha. Absolutely love his stuff

From what I understand of the guy, it’s crippling anxiety and massive imposter syndrome thinly masked by attempts to mitigate that via brags about stuff he’s done.

For someone that's done so much, he hasn't really done anything.
Yet he doesn't realize that he's been out there having a life that most anyone would envy... He's got good friends, passion and an interesting way of talking/writing.
Some just don't have any of those.

It kind of hurts that I relate to this person. And not in a poetic, story-like way. No, it actually feels bad

In all honesty, I see a lot of similarities between this guy and myself. I haven't seen any of his other work; only this and "Get Bonus: The Movie", which I didn't even recognize until the end was from the same guy. I see the way, in that video, that he knows so many people at E3, and that even as a goofy guy, he has inside contacts, and it makes me inherently yearn for that power. It makes me feel angry at and disappointed in myself for not being as far ahead as him, even if I was quite literally a child at the time. I think about it more deeply and remember that in many ways, I have a very similar set of "inside contacts", but it's never enough. The anxiety that I haven't done enough at my age never goes away.

I predict with confidence that the Tim Rogers “success” story is far from over. And I would pay good money that I earned at my dismal little job, for the opportunity to read any one of those “bad” novels.

Is this how Tim speaks in his everyday life? Ramble on about minute details from his past, and then repeat and paraphrase the same point over and over again in that monotonous, ponderous, hypnotic voice?
