Yeah in the trinomial he didn't explain why from -1 it went to +1

-(2×-1) The negative in front of the bracket applies to both 2× and -1, so it's actually like this -(+2×-1) where 2× becomes negative because a plus and a minus make a minus and the -1 becomes a +1 because a minus and a minus make a plus. Hope it helped
