Absolutely love this video! Sometimes we think we are the only ones going through setbacks…. But love the fact that knowing you know a lot about colors, you humbly spoke about your own setbacks. This is all our journey in life too, not only on colors and pigments etc. Is staying open mind, see it with another perspective… outside the four corners of the box, do not quit! Keep on your journey. Be patient with yourself knowing our life path is all about the good and bad. Embrace it proudly and keep learning and moving on forward!❤❤❤ Many blessings for you and your love ones!

I love this. We all struggle sometimes with our art work. I agree we just sometimes is best to take a step back and come back to it a few days later and see the art through a different perspective to appreciate it more. Don't give up, you are gifted. I loved the final piece. BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have the same problems over and over again. I am painting since 2019 with watercolours, it is so hard to get into this medium. I feel you.

I know, it is not an easy one to really catch on, but the good thing you are doing is to soldier on. Before you realize, you will notice how you have mastered the skill set needed for it. I think that watercolors is such a beautiful medium, and at the same time it can be so challenging. Sometimes, we are too tough with ourselves and that can also blind us as to the progress we have made since we first started. Big hugs to you! ♥

Hi Sundayberries, I too have the same problem with my painting. Sometimes it seems that I’m getting worse instead of better and I get annoyed with myself. When this happens I usually draw lots of circles and just paint them, something that puts no pressure on me. I’m still painting and enjoying it all but don’t expect too much as I’m probably never going to by another Van Gogh😂. Dee

I know exactly how you feel, Dee. I do get frustrated and I do feel that I am getting worse than better. But then again, I am not painting as much as I should. I think that your approach of painting circles is quite an excellent option because it does keep you painting, gives you the pressure release and you can experiment with your colors and the way they might or might not move with water. I am glad that you are still painting, and lowering expectations is quite alright because when you least expect it, you might notice that you are better than you realize. In terms of Van Gogh? You never know! Time will tell! ♥♥♥
