I might have to jump in and take the course - expressions are def my downfall, I have the worst memory when it comes to expressions so I've basically hoarded a very long txt document with them all. haha. Yes, each finger is linked to a slider control. You don't have to use a Null object, I think it's easier to have all expression controls in one place though.
@@latestcolors.w Then it’s the script. It seems the Nulls aren’t linked to the path points. You selected the path of the pointer finger to create the Nulls? Maybe it’s a preview thing? Have you emptied your cache in the presets?
This very method saved me bunch of times from doing it in 3d. Great tutorial , totally recommend to use this method

What if, when you move your slider the pointer finger layer doesnt move?
