Honestly Casey, giving us a daily vlog with the quality that you bring, has been a godsend during this pandemic. I hope you stay motivated to do these.
I agree with her for the most part, regarding the sense of community in LA . But I think it also depends where in LA/what neighborhood you live. Venice feels different than Hollywood, which feels different than Long Beach, etc.
I'm looking at this guy, he runs up the hill, and he gets filmed, walks somewhere and gets filmed, rides his truck, and there is a drone footage. It is a one man operation, and man. That is a lot of work to pull that off. Then go home and edit and post. 8 hours per day easy.
I am really loving these new vlogs. I totally get where Candice is coming from as well - that was the similar energy I felt when I went to LA. But being around your family is a huge plus. Y’all also look... happy.
Oh, when you start to get that feeling about LA it won’t be long before she decides to move. After 2 years I just moved to Miami. Still trying to find a place I can call home
I lived in LA all my life and I can see how living in Venice with kids Candace feels like there is no community in LA. Move to one of the smaller cities that are family oriented. South Pasadena, Manhattan Beach, and Claremont are all examples of cities in L.A. (with great school districts) that will give you a sense of community.
Agree 100%. Palisades is nice, deeper in Malibu I’m sure is pretty cool. Manhattan beach is definitely cool, hermosa, Palos verdes. Endless possibilities. OC is so nice as well
I'm from LA and what I can see in the latest videos is that they are living in Beverly Hills, (in the very fancy area) and people over there aren't friendly, so I agree with you @JLChun they need to move to a small city.
as LA native, I agree. Can't get much snobbier than venice/SM.... Those are all good suggestions for beach communities. I'd also throw in topanga and palisades.
I just moved to LA from NYC a few years ago and yeah-NYC will drive you crazy after a while. It's non-stop over there. LA to me is the perfect balance.
@@goodlandchugz can confirm. Grew up in Chicago, lived in LA for 4 years, and am moving back to Chicago on Saturday. Chicago has a real sense of pride and community, while having many of the things NYC has to offer without feeling like you need to work at warp speed at all times. If you can bear the winters, it's truly an amazing place.
@strawberry_shortcake4life Depends where you are and who you're with. Also, if you've never been here, don't believe what you hear or read. The majority of New Yorkers are helpful and friendly. If you're an asshole though, we will treat you like one!

Such a nostalgic feeling just by watching his new videos. Even tho I never watched them in the past. Love you Casey. Thank you for everything you’ve done. From someone who doesn’t even really watch you . Thank you
I dont understand why anyone would go to someone's comment section to say something bad about another human. Why would you choose to be nasty about someone for no reason?? I think a lot of people don't get candice's humour. I think she is hilarious and the absolute backbone as to how casey can do what he can do.
It's probably because I haven't watched the earlier vids, but whenever I saw her, I would feel sorry for her. She always looks like she's one moment away from a mental breakdown/ panic attack.
It's everyone for themselves. I love LA personally, but I also have my own little circle of friends otherwise this place eats you alive and generally speaking it can be harder for people that are influencers or celebs than most, but us normies with typical 9-5's experience the city differently than most. Anyway, I think she also just loves NYC and it's pace. LA is super laid back and people just tend to not care as much so it's an interesting dynamic shift. Heck I have friends here who want to go back to NYC and finish out their time there cause the east coast is totally different vibe that's why I think it's funny when people compare the two there's really nothing about the coasts that are similar.
It’s a west coast issue for sure. I’ve lived in So. Cal and Oregon. I’ve visited Seattle many times. Oregon is the best at staying away from it but even there people can still have a bubble mentality.
I sense the same in Seattle. I’m not sure if that’s because I didn’t grow up here or bring a guy is just different or being single. But I don’t hate it I just feel like I need to try harder to make friends than people who are already here which is understandable. I still love Seattle!
Hey Casey, tell Candice to look for the group "East Coast on the West Coast". Heard about it in 2008 before Facebook, so they must have used an old school forum so probably on Facebook, Reddit or elsewhere now. It was for east coast people with exactly the issue Candice raised. She should try local Nextdoor groups (A recent feature they just added) to meet other mums and professionals or just friends.
@@jazz2020 Massively generalizing and being negative, what a surprising YT comment (/s). For those that might believe this guy, there are hundreds of thousands of Nextdoor communities in the US, some will suck, many are good. Regardless, Candice could start her own local fashion Nextdoor group in her area, control who joins (ie kick rabid Casey fans), and meet people that way.

So a tesla, bmw suv, an older tacoma and an older land cruiser? Im just trying to get all of the straight, no knocking on what they’ve got. I actually think the older Toyotas are pretty dope. Just kind of a funny and interesting mix of vehicles they have haha
Nefertiti Fearless SoCal native here and I hate being in LA. Only there for fun basically. Casey should definitely be in San Diego or Orange County for less city problems and more chill suburban life. Still great food out of the city, beaches arguably nicer, people a little less snobby, and weather just as nice.
Is anybody gonna talk about the editing skills when the other guy said, "I'm gonna teach you how to jump through the trampoline" !!!!! Mad mad mad editing skills. Casey is god of vlogging.
This was great and you both encapsulated so much of LA life, its positives and negative. I think even native LA people have to admit it can be awfully hollow at times. Is it the lack of greenery that wears on our soul? That parched look? Then there's that glorious weather that welcomes you outside almost every day of the year. And the beaches always beckon. How can you put a price on something like that? I love how, even though you're obviously very wealthy, you never lose your appreciation of value. Its not being cheap. Its about rewarding good business when searching for a deal. It also shows the humility you both have retained and this allows you to appreciate what you've got all that much more if you spend less of it. Poor people often find this difficult to understand but its so important to look at so many wealthy people whose lives are disasters because they let themselves get so far out of balance. Money can distract us so easily away from the most important things in life. Manage your money well then you are the master of your money, not the other way around. You don't need fancy stuff. You need quality relationships and the pursuit of your interests and talents.

Seems odd he cheaped out. It's a decent trampoline but every rich person I've seen has those super safe non spring trampolines.

I agree with her for the most part, regarding the sense of community in LA . But I think it also depends where in LA/what neighborhood you live. Venice feels different than Hollywood, which feels different than Long Beach, etc.
long beach is where it’s at!!
I was about to say the same thing. I don't feel that way living in Orange County.
I'd say the Valley probably has the best sense of community overall ( of course, there are spots where there's more and less community)
@@lshanw 100% i lived in the valley for 6 years and loved it!

It is a one man operation, and man. That is a lot of work to pull that off.

The “kids’” trampoline. We know who it is for.
...for the... for the kids... yea..
I am really loving these new vlogs. I totally get where Candice is coming from as well - that was the similar energy I felt when I went to LA. But being around your family is a huge plus. Y’all also look... happy.
Why are we doing tequila shots again?
Candace: "because I HAVE to"
If that doesn't sum up 2020 I don't know what will!

Casey turning the whole car flex thing around!! Lovely shots and angles. Great vibes
OC is so nice as well
JL Chun 100% LA native over here and was raised near the Beach Cities. LA is huge. You gotta find the right pocket to live in.
Nah LA is shot
I just moved to LA from NYC a few years ago and yeah-NYC will drive you crazy after a while. It's non-stop over there. LA to me is the perfect balance.
The true perfect in between is Chicago
Seki imagine thinking the West and South side were accurate representations of all of chicago lmfao
Anthony Recenello I saw you comment on Chris’s vid
What do you think about moist mansion someone commented that
@@goodlandchugz can confirm.
Agreed! Los Angeles is HEAVEN compared to NYC!
Have always admired Candice's patience while Casey is getting all those angles lmao
Glad Casey’s back. Master of the camera angles.
Casey’s videos just make me smile the whole way through, it’s refreshing.
There’s an art to making a 6 minute vlog feel like a full day. Pure quality right here.
there’s no place like New York for real...❤️ I miss it so much
True, no place like it.....but......im ready for laid back living after being here all my life. NYC is great for young people who love to socialize.
@strawberry_shortcake4life Depends where you are and who you're with. Also, if you've never been here, don't believe what you hear or read. The majority of New Yorkers are helpful and friendly. If you're an asshole though, we will treat you like one!
Casey says he got the trampoline for the kids, but let's be honest... its for him
But why are they wearing shoes on the trampolin? Is that also an American thing?
Squatification I think that’s just them since they were doing tricks
Lived in LA my whole life and went to Utah last week and couldn’t believe how nice people are in other states
God I’m Candice! She’s such a real character.
As are you... ;-)
I've never felt more relatable to the Netstat's, as when they were counting how many sheets they get in the paper towel's.
I don’t even watch Casey. But I am aware of his affects on the RUclips community, I literally tear up thinking about how Casey is making vlogs still. Such a beautiful human. Such a nostalgic feeling just by watching his new videos. Even tho I never watched them in the past. Love you Casey. Thank you for everything you’ve done. From someone who doesn’t even really watch you . Thank you
Casey: why are we doing shots of tequila?
Candace: cause I HAVE TO
THATS A MOOD!!!
agree! 😊
She always looks like she's one moment away from a mental breakdown/ panic attack.
because that is the easy thing to do. the hard thing to do is be nice especially when you don't like what they are doing.
@Elite Soulfly Im glad you didn't notice them.
@Elite Soulfly If you don't swear, your comments will have far more credibility. Good luck with everything you do in life. I truly mean it. :)

"The snobbery is real" I get that same sense in Seattle, nobody seems interested in helping out others, and everyone's obsessed with status
Nicholas Accorso nah not really
@@kgal1298 well said!
I sense the same in Seattle. I’m not sure if that’s because I didn’t grow up here or bring a guy is just different or being single. But I don’t hate it I just feel like I need to try harder to make friends than people who are already here which is understandable. I still love Seattle!
Candace hating LA is the most relatable Candace has ever been in the vlog.
Nextdoor is actually a place to find out your neighbors are petty unlikeable people
@@jazz2020 Massively generalizing and being negative, what a surprising YT comment (/s). For those that might believe this guy, there are hundreds of thousands of Nextdoor communities in the US, some will suck, many are good. Regardless, Candice could start her own local fashion Nextdoor group in her area, control who joins (ie kick rabid Casey fans), and meet people that way.

I agree Toyota is the way to go.

... and a pickup truck... and a BMW SUV...
These Land Cruisers and especially the pickup version, the HILUX, have been through the South Pole and the Sahara desert, all they have to modify is the tires.
So a tesla, bmw suv, an older tacoma and an older land cruiser? Im just trying to get all of the straight, no knocking on what they’ve got. I actually think the older Toyotas are pretty dope. Just kind of a funny and interesting mix of vehicles they have haha

Candace at the end is me everyday 😂 my first vlog watching since the return, so happy!
Let’s not forget that MOST of the people in LA are from someplace else.
And they move right into LA. Native Californian know that you never move into LA. You go there on auditions, dinner, party!
Same goes for NYC
Definitely shoulda moved to like San deigo or a suberb of La
Nefertiti Fearless SoCal native here and I hate being in LA. Only there for fun basically. Casey should definitely be in San Diego or Orange County for less city problems and more chill suburban life. Still great food out of the city, beaches arguably nicer, people a little less snobby, and weather just as nice.
yeah like 15 million people just moved there.
I wouldn't be surprised to find Tarzan schooling everyone at SkyZone.
The amount of creativity Casey puts into his filming is astounding!
I'm seriously enjoying the amount of vids he's uploading again too.
I love you guys! Thanks for giving me a sense of realistic goodness in my everyday backpack of feelings.
Is anybody gonna talk about the editing skills when the other guy said, "I'm gonna teach you how to jump through the trampoline" !!!!! Mad mad mad editing skills. Casey is god of vlogging.
what he did was film another shot of him back flopping and then rotated the video 180 and then sync them together
I flinched lol
that wasnt that hard

Is anybody else going to question that unexpected camera flash from inside the shed door while Casey was jumping on the trampoline?
These titles are getting out of hand day by day.
It’s a running joke now

Nah. Not “I think even native LA people have to admit it can be awfully hollow at times.” Not “Is it the lack of greenery that wears on our soul?” /
