Adam calling him Gramps is accurate and not at all a provocation/intimidation as Zeus in that universe is called the grandfather of the Cosmos and because he's the first human that is a copy of the gods he's practically a god himself, but because he's the progenitor of the humans that means his family are the gods and humans.

oh also i normally dont recommend dub over sub but I'd say the dub is better imo and its much better written in dub with less censorship on cursing and such its more impactful with the word choices
I tried ROR in sub and dub versions and actually liked both! Adam's voice actor was casted well and matched his persona perfectly! I know what you mean - not sure if it is catered to more US based audiences but dub versions have certain tones/phrases that are familiar.
