Niall Ó Murchú: Only for Barney [Jig]

Niall Ó Murchú plays a Josephine Keegan composition in the U-18 Fiddle competition at Tullamore in 2008. This setting of the tune comes from Bríd Harper and John Regan.

I'm proud to be among the first few to see this video. Fantastic. The young musicians of Ireland are brilliant. I wish the older musicians would pay them more respect in sessions. Not dominate proceedings all the time. After all, because of their age, they don't often get to play in pubs with us.

I was going to venture that it might be one of her tunes and then I just noticed that it says here that it is. it was on the red covered vinyl Josephine brought out late 70s or early eighties.
