I remember watching this episode when it first aired and thinking the Lauren and Matthias storyline was so cute. Now it makes me cringe so hard. 🥴😖 Lauren’s body language is soooo not into it.
Whitney was such a boss for calling the Alberta Ferretti studio about Lauren's dress and convincing them to give her a new one. I'm sure that must have been scary and very intimidating.
Spencer is so toxic. Just because he doesn't beat Heidi, it doesn't mean he isn't the classic emotionally abusive boyfriend. He's so vile towards women. Lauren Conrad, even his own sister. Heidi did end up isolated and without her girlfriends (as most abused women do). But part of me thinks - she has seen who Spencer is, she chooses him as her life partner anyway - she is not completely innocent and blameless. I feel like Whitney shouldn't talk about Spencer so positively - especially considering Lauren is her friend.

Such a nostalgic episode. I went to Paris on my semester abroad specifically because of this episode. It's since become my favorite city and I owe it to Whit and LC. The impact of this show y'all, something else!
Even for the Italian audience was devastating...we respect our tailors and designers...broke or ruin is disrespectful. In Italy when you buy something; in the same moment you live the store the staff is under your responsibility if is designed or a limited edition or artisanal because it was buy from your taste, wish or designed by your direct indication...the shop is not responsible for damages made outside the shop.

She seem more involve with the drama and people in season 1-3 but as the show progressed you can see Lauren doesn’t really care about drama or being involved in the main storylines. She doesn’t even get involved with boys. She distance herself more!
yeah & I feel like they kinda glazed over the fact that the restaurant they always eat at in Colorado is his place. I think it was put on the chyron--like "Timberline, Heidi's parents' restaurant" but that is wild.
I need to know if Darlene was in on Heidi and Spencer's fake drama and went along with it, or did she really suffer the consequences of the fake storylines?
Darlene showed SO much genuine emotion in all of her scenes that I don't think for a second her feelings weren't genuine. H&S on the other hand is a whole other story.
This was something I always wondered as well! Because she always seemed so concerned and caring and I think I would feel quite betrayed to find out down the line that it had all been for the cameras.
Haha I think it’s so funny that Tim said “every girl in America is like I need to watch this facking show every week!!” More like every girl in the WORLD! Hello from the Caribbean 👋🏽 Watched this show religiously ❤️❤️
I would have constantly been questioning people’s motives if I were Lauren. Because all people wanted was to be in the show (except whit & Audrina who kind of got lucky). Lauren and Kim K - giving people careers!
I'm subscribed and watch every video and like them - I don't usually comment, but Timmy doing the french accent after the "kiss kiss bye bye" had me dying 😂 had to say thanks for making my day yet again!
Yep, she's always starting shit. Whenever she relays a conversation that she's had with someone else, she adds her own little dramatic flair to make it a bigger deal than it actually is, and then plays dumb and says 'I don't even know how I'm involved in this.'
@@brockbuster Exactly. Like, Heidi would vent to her & specifically ask her not to tell Spencer, only for her to turn around & tell Spencer & vice versa. She’s the reason they called off their engagement & separated & the instigator behind a lot of their fights for that reason. She also would play the victim when it would end badly despite the fact she caused it. I always took Stephanie’s side because I never really cared for Spencer or Heidi, but I don’t anymore. I can see where they are coming from now.
I love how affirming and positive your husband is with you. Lighten up on yourself Whit! (currently on the Givenchy part). We all have foot in mouth moments in our youth. You dont know what ya dont know! Love reliving these moments with commentary from you two. So good.
Oh my gosh Whitney's club dress is bringing back memories!! I was *obsessed* with it and looked for similar ones for my highschool formals, but to no avail!
First of all, Timmy’s French accent 😂 amazing lol Also, I feel like because Whitney still films with Speidi, Timmy and Whitney don’t want to talk badly about them. But we really can’t gloss over how manipulative and toxic Spencer was. He caused so many issues, talking to Heidi crazy, drove a wedge between Heidi and her family/friends, always made huge life decisions without discussing with her, and whenever she was mad at him and wanted space, he would follow her and pop up everywhere with a grand gesture and apologize, but they probably never really got to the root of the problem and then he’d just do it again...? I just feel like he was extremely emotionally manipulative and it was never brought up lol
Tim and Whit - you guys give Spencer and Heidi wayyy too much credit for being "good actors." I know that towards the end, most of it was scripted but I think up until now, a lot of this is real. Unless you guys know things that we don't from your direct relationship with Heidi and Spencer!
Yes, was wondering this same thing. Timmy keeps saying "their storyline" which gives me the impression it was scripted. It seems pretty real to me, that Heidi (at that point) had enough of Spencer's crap and wanted a break, and their fights seem real because Spencer is the WORST actor of all time and he can't fake his reactions to Heidi being upset. Also, I think there is a difference between things being scripted to help the stories move/evolve vs the cast having authentic reactions to dealing with those scripted parts. Like Heidi's job was scripted and made up (assuming) but her co-workers reactions seemed real. I think Brody and Lauren had a fling, even if it was small, there was definitely flirtation. Maybe it was scripted to find romance but maybe not scripted on the reaction to that romance. And so on and so forth...Anyway, just my two cents.
I really love this episode in Paris always reminds me of Sex And The City 🇫🇷 so iconic that Colette store it’s been 2 years now that it closed permanently I remember celebrities like Rihanna and David Beckham coming here ! Also I’ve noticed this episode has the original music except when Matthias and Lauren are exploring Paris on a vespa the original was Show Me What I’m Looking For by Carolina Liars !!!

She seem more involve with the drama and people in season 1-3 but as the show progressed you can see Lauren doesn’t really care about drama or being involved in the main storylines. She doesn’t even get involved with boys. She distance herself more!
She also becomes more private and doesn’t vent much.
Because travel changes your perspective. I have lived in many different countries. You aren't the sane person after travelling.
Now that im older watching this I’m realizing Tim (Heidi’s stepdad) is actually Zaddy. He just seems like a good husband & dad!
yeah & I feel like they kinda glazed over the fact that the restaurant they always eat at in Colorado is his place. I think it was put on the chyron--like "Timberline, Heidi's parents' restaurant" but that is wild.
Whitney’s dress is timeless ❤️
You could wear that to a ball now and it would be perfect.
You’re stunning!
I need to know if Darlene was in on Heidi and Spencer's fake drama and went along with it, or did she really suffer the consequences of the fake storylines?
they really can't be that great of actors. they only say that it's fake at their own convenience so they don't look bad.
Darlene showed SO much genuine emotion in all of her scenes that I don't think for a second her feelings weren't genuine. H&S on the other hand is a whole other story.
Great question!! I want to know where that line between fake and reality began and ended for Darlene (and Holly) too!
This was something I always wondered as well! Because she always seemed so concerned and caring and I think I would feel quite betrayed to find out down the line that it had all been for the cameras.
Exactly, someone needs to spill this tea. We need answers!
“Yah man. West Side Stories”. Timmy makes me laugh. Whitney, you are adorable.
Haha I think it’s so funny that Tim said “every girl in America is like I need to watch this facking show every week!!”
More like every girl in the WORLD!
“Nobody likes him. I don’t even like him.” Lmfaooo
I just remember thinking of Matthias as the French Justin Bobby. Hahaha
Love watching these videos at night when the kids are sleeping it’s my “me time “ love you guys ❤️
I'm subscribed and watch every video and like them - I don't usually comment, but Timmy doing the french accent after the "kiss kiss bye bye" had me dying 😂 had to say thanks for making my day yet again!
i feel like id have been way more scared at ruining what im sure is a very very expensive dress
This episode was ICONIC on so many levels but Timmy speaking French throughout it all had me in stitches 🤣😅🤣 love Timmy even more
More subtitle thought bubbles!!!!! “Chill out, mom!” was INCREDIBLE 😍🤪
So Lauren burnt the first dress but decided it would be a good idea to jump on a motorbike wearing the replacement dress?
The Paris episode is by far one of my favourite episodes of show
I literally choked on my food when Tim began the impressions. My 5 year old was so concerned. 😂
Watching this now that I’m older it’s so obvious Stephanie was an instigator I don’t know how I didn’t catch it before.
Yep, she's always starting shit. Whenever she relays a conversation that she's had with someone else, she adds her own little dramatic flair to make it a bigger deal than it actually is, and then plays dumb and says 'I don't even know how I'm involved in this.'
She did the same in Made in Chelsea. Massive drama queen.
@@aquablushgirl She does it on New Beginnings as well, loves to insert herself into drama.
I LOVE French twists!!!!! I’m a hairstylist and it is my favourite classic updo!
I love how affirming and positive your husband is with you. Lighten up on yourself Whit! (currently on the Givenchy part). We all have foot in mouth moments in our youth. You dont know what ya dont know! Love reliving these moments with commentary from you two. So good.
Timmy's French accent makes me silent crack up like Whitney does. XD
Oh my gosh Whitney's club dress is bringing back memories!! I was *obsessed* with it and looked for similar ones for my highschool formals, but to no avail!
I was obsessed with the half on/half off knit beanie trend
Oh my, Whitney with the added joint & sunnies. So funnay.
First of all, Timmy’s French accent 😂 amazing lol
Also, I feel like because Whitney still films with Speidi, Timmy and Whitney don’t want to talk badly about them.
Oh man - I love watching these! Timmy is a riot!!! The two of you together are so awesome ❤
Aww lauren looks very pretty in this episode and her eyes shine when shes happy
This was always my favorite episode. I was looking forward for you guys to react and you didn’t disappoint
Whitney looked so great in Paris!
I really love this episode in Paris always reminds me of Sex And The City 🇫🇷 so iconic
that Colette store it’s been 2 years now that it closed permanently I remember celebrities like Rihanna and David Beckham coming here !
Also I’ve noticed this episode has the original music except when Matthias and Lauren are exploring Paris on a vespa the original was Show Me What I’m Looking For by Carolina Liars !!!
I don’t think the spencer storyline is fake...
How did Lauren pack an entire suitcase of shoes and not take outfit options or one fancy outfit.
Why am I nervous about Lauren altering her dress and wearing it to a club? This happened 15 years ago and wasn't me, haha.
Timmy, your French accent SLAPS. Also, I literally have to fast forward thru the Speidi scenes. I cannot deal
