The whole "where's your loyalty" thing definitely was a tactic used by Speidi to stir drama and mess w/ Stephanie. The fact that they both dropped the same line on her in one episode is telling. I feel bad for Stephanie...she was treated like crap for the stupidest things. (Audrina too).
I disagree, Stephanie put herself in that position. She knew Spencer would never be okay with it and she knew Heidi would always be jealous. Audrina I do feel bad for because it’s obvious Lo does not like her and now Lauren is pulling away from Audrina because of Lo’s presence. I think the stuff going on with Heidi brought them closer to together but since they don’t have that in common anymore they’re not close.

Yes, I feel like it's so obvious that Lauren is acting/that it's highly edited! Whitney and Timmy assume everything Speidi does is acting (which is fair imo) but sometimes forget that the same is probably true for Lauren and Lo at this point. I feel like Lauren wanted to keep her real life a bit more private at that stage so they needed more fake storylines.

She clearly went behind Audrinas back and was looking at other rental properties with Lo, she almost seems cowardice in the fact that she just maybe didn't want to live with Audrina anymore but used Lo to deliver the message. Lauren has no problem confronting Spencer, Heidi, Brody etc but when it comes to a simple living arrangement with Audrina she can't seem to have a simple conversation and leaves Audrina in the dark. A few thoughts on Audrina. This is probably just production, but they never show her talking positively about Lauren to Justin which bothers me. Also, after the girls said “wait, back up, Justin is coming?” Audrina did the same thing when Lauren said Stephen was coming. I don’t know. I just feel like Lauren is unfairly made out to be the bad guy in that relationship.
Audrina was like "Wait, Stephen is coming?" :D and Lo and Lauren were like "Wtf Justin is coming?" x'D Totally different thing. Audrina's question came from a place of curiosity whereas she's aware that Lauren and especially Lo like to make fun of Justin.

I rewatched laguna hills as an adult and I really think the same way as Tim. Stephen never seemed to actually want anything with Lauren. Maybe a little crush or a guy’s urge but nothing in terms of relationship and stuff. When I was a kid though I really shopped them.
100% lol. The Valentine’s Day episode from Laguna Beach comes to mind every single time. He took Kristin out for Valentine’s Day, then brought Lauren flowers the next day and couldn’t even stay to spend time with her cause he was leaving in a few hours. He never truly wanted to be with her. She was just a booty call for him.
Stephen was Kristin's boyfriend. Lauren had a crush on him since HS but it was not reciprocated. HOWEVER, when they were filming LB, the producers would make Stephen bring Lauren flowers and stuff. From Lauren's point of view, she thought it was all real and that they had a thing. But it was never real for Stephen. He just considered her a friend. But what the producers made him do also caused a rift between him and Kristin.
I never understood the dislike for Kristin in Laguna beach. Stephen was her boyfriend of course she wasn't going to be nice to the girl who told anyone who would listen she liked her boyfriend

She clearly went behind Audrinas back and was looking at other rental properties with Lo, she almost seems cowardice in the fact that she just maybe didn't want to live with Audrina anymore but used Lo to deliver the message. Lauren has no problem confronting Spencer, Heidi, Brody etc but when it comes to a simple living arrangement with Audrina she can't seem to have a simple conversation and leaves Audrina in the dark. A few thoughts on Audrina. This is probably just production, but they never show her talking positively about Lauren to Justin which bothers me. Also, after the girls said “wait, back up, Justin is coming?” Audrina did the same thing when Lauren said Stephen was coming. I don’t know. I just feel like Lauren is unfairly made out to be the bad guy in that relationship.
Audrina was like "Wait, Stephen is coming?" :D and Lo and Lauren were like "Wtf Justin is coming?" x'D Totally different thing. Audrina's question came from a place of curiosity whereas she's aware that Lauren and especially Lo like to make fun of Justin.

I rewatched laguna hills as an adult and I really think the same way as Tim. Stephen never seemed to actually want anything with Lauren. Maybe a little crush or a guy’s urge but nothing in terms of relationship and stuff. When I was a kid though I really shopped them.

Stephen was Kristin's boyfriend. Lauren had a crush on him since HS but it was not reciprocated. HOWEVER, when they were filming LB, the producers would make Stephen bring Lauren flowers and stuff. From Lauren's point of view, she thought it was all real and that they had a thing. But it was never real for Stephen. He just considered her a friend. But what the producers made him do also caused a rift between him and Kristin.

Unpopular opinion: I think lo saw how ‘shady’ Audrina is by hanging out w Heidi and treated her as such same with Lauren. I’m sure they both felt a certain way about that so the friendship started to fade
