Test for Ketone Bodies in urine(Ketonuria)//

Hi guys,
Once again welcome to a brand new video of my channel Rohitland Experiment,hope you guys are doing well.
Today in this video we gona detect ketone bodies in urine(Ketonuria) by a method called Rothera`s Test.
There are three types of ketone bodies found in our body this are Acetone,Beta hydroxy butryic acid,Aceto acetic acid.
By the application of Rothra's Test we can identify Aceto acetic acid and acetone but not Beta hydroxy butryic acid.
High concentration of ketone bodies are found in patient suffering from Diabetic keto acidosis,prolonged starvation,and chronic alcoholism.
