    Awesome! Very informative and fun! You are super lucky to have a scotch bonnet plant! Many of my co-workers seek those out for their unique flavor. Loved the whisky barrel well idea, and your rhododendrons are looking gorgeous. Thanks for sharing!

    Are the tomatillos hot? I've been getting tomatillo salsa at our Mexican spot and it's so hot they don't bring it out. You have to ask for it. Had no idea they were hot.

      No tomatillos have zero heat. They taste like a tomato.

      @@AverageIowaGuyLiveStreams That's what I thought too. They're loading that salsa with something else. One fellow said it was red hot cherry peppers.

      @@roliver7773 A traditional addition to tomatillo salsa could be chipotle peppers if it tastes smokey but those aren't that hot. If there are red bits in there it is probably rehydrated chili de arbol. Thats another really common pepper to use.
