I have an even older Unitol siren. It has the European high-low siren. But only Yelp and wail with it..... I'm guessing it's from the 1970s. I have the light bar too. Long ago These were being sold to other countries and jurisdictions that had little money for new equipment.
What screws in back is for the wig wag lights. I have the exact same siren but I wanna turn my headlights into wig wag.I'm sure u knw what I'm talking about. Which rear screw is for that light
Ryan did you have to use a relay on RLS button to reverse polarity to -Neg in order to hook it up to RNG? I'm not sure if RNG will work from a +Pos trigger, don't wanna test my luck.
We still use unitrols in our patrol vehicles here. They are terrible. Anyway, I don't understand the purpose of amber lights with sirens...kinda odd. And you have the auxiliary / release (rls) hooked up wrong. That switch is for two things: an auxiliary imput, such as if your car has a second spot-light on the passenger side; and the release (rls) is for the shotgun rack behind your seat so you can release it and retrieve your weapon. Your siren controls all should be on the left side.
i have the same siren box and when wiring the box to the actual speaker do you have to put in an auxillary amp or is the box actually rated at 100 watts. My speaker is loud but i feel like it could be louder.
I'm not sure on that one. I know my local police agency, the San Diego Police, use this siren and have a dual setup, but I have no idea how they do it. Sorry for not being much help...
My older unit has 2 outputs... large power transistors say they can power those speakers (code 3 brand) no problem. No amp needed on my older unit. Use heavy gauge wire. Strong power supply and good circuit protection.
Used by Pierce County Washington Sheriff’s Office as seen from COPS TV.
0:27 that’s my favorite siren
Install it in LSPDFR GTA 5
So this is the older touchmaster and below it is the newer one

Theoretically, what would I have to do to put this on my bmx bike? Im actually curious because I want to so badly
Too bad I’m not a cop. Only siren I’d use is hi-lo and air horn. Hi low on a straightaway and air horn crossing intersections. Wail is overused
that siren panel is off cops and cops reloaded
What wire do you have to apply power to to get the backlight?

You would have to buy headlight flashers from Whelen or federal signal then rig them to your headlights and to your controller
Pretty sure they're using newer units than this, but the local Pierce County Sheriff sound just like this when running Code 3. Must be similar.
You can combine this siren to the Delta version
How did you wire it to use the RLS momentary switch as horn ring?
you answered your own question, wire the horn ring into RLS
Which delta is this? I know the one on the bottom of the one your using but the one on top must be a really old version. The hi-lo is the best though.
Could you show a how to vide on Adding radio like a scanner or cb radio to it?? Or
IM LOOKING FOR THE POWER WIRING ON THE BACK HOW TO WIRE IT UP
how do you make the high and low sound the same time as the wail

What's terrible about them? My older unit still works.

Good lord, what is that massive clicking noise?
I like the siren btw.
It does that when the lights are turned on so like if they forget to turn of the lights it makes that sound like a reminder that it's on
Different settings can modify that to be turned off
relays.
Those are heavy current relays to switch big amp incandescent bulbs. Not like today's LED...those big relays are more expensive and will last...
Yes, will you do the same for me. i would like to see so i can set it up. thanks

how much does that cost ??
Battlefield Montagers / Lil Chayne About $640 brand new. You can find one used for around $100.
i have one for sale
Isn't this what LAFD uses ?
Supporting First Responders I don’t think they do.
Supporting First Responders nope! LAFD uses the Motorola Spectra, but Long Beach South of LA has Fire trucks with the Touchmaster.
I hate this siren so much. Especially the hi-lo.
RenderingRadar24 lol
European sirens are hi- low.... no problems
I love this siren especially for the Hi-lo
