Great vid man.. you definitely made me realize some mistakes in my channel… most notably the inconsistent art and too saturated of a niche. Do you recommend starting a new channel? Or is it possible to recover one you’ve made a lot of mistakes on and aren’t getting that many views?
Hey bro appreciate you! It depends on a few things. If you have a lot of subscribers and you're going to go in a new niche that's similar to your old one you may want to keep the same channel but if you don't have a lot of subscribers and you're starting a completely new niche that's different from your other beats you may want to start fresh with a new channel. One question I did wanna ask is at 6:25 you pointed out that they should add a second artist alongside dominic fike (dijon for ex.).
What if adding a second artist or keyword to the title lowers the vidiq score? In this example, having dominc fike alone in the title always generated a higher score than having another artist/keyword for me?

Yo great question. I wouldn’t look at the VidIQ score for the combined “Dominic fike x Dijon type beat” keyword and instead would look at the individual scores for “Dominic fike type beat” and “Dijon type beat”. Because you’ll be able to hit both of those individual keywords by having both the artists in the same title. So I wouldn’t be worried if the combined keyword has a low score. Let me know if that makes sense!
@@prodzbeatz Thanks, that makes sense! I figured that was the case after I noticed adding "free" to the title lowered the score for every title I tested lol
@@Prod_Hi_END Haha yea exactly. In my experience as long as the words are all in the title for the keyword that you’re going for - you’re good. Even if all the words aren’t all right next to each other.
