I am studying at AJC and food is my JC essential. Without food I'll be dozing off in class and I won't be able to survive the night to complete my hw haha

Hey! I am from ACS (Independent) and my JC essential is a planner. I constantly have homework, coursework and projects to complete and they all have varying deadlines so it is of utmost importance that I keep track of all my deadlines. Moreover, I can easily update my various commitments (e.g.: CCA, outside activities) in the planner to ensure I am aware of all the numerous tasks :-)

My fav jc essential is a good old comfy sweater.... I just love sweaters cause they all are comfy and and its really helpful when classrooms are real cold.
I'm in RV right now and my JC essential is actually chicken essence haha! It helps a lot to boost your focus and attention span, especially during busy periods when we have to stay up, study, and have sleepless nights! 😴😴

I'm from hcjc and my no.1 essential is my bullet journal - it helps me stay organised and remember what to do, plus doodling in my bullet journal is quite therapeutic when I'm stressed ☺
from srjc~ the bag is great! it seems like you guys have spent some time on searching for the suitable ones ty~ hmmm the essential thing in jc is sleep, but we can't simply enjoy a good night rest frequently, good thing is there's hols which enables us to sleep more
Hi there! I'm from SAJC and my number one JC essential is: JACKET! It comes in handy when lecture theatre is freezing cold and also when you need a cushion/mini pillow to nap during breaks!
HIII!! I'm from Jurong Junior College and my number one JC essential is the planner. Planner is REALLY REALLY important to me as in JC there are a lot of tests and homework to do. Without a planner, it is easy to forget stuff. Especially when exams are nearing, teachers will suddenly give you several past year papers to do and mini mock exams. It is impossible to rmb everything without a planner.:)
I'm from Hwa Chong haha and I guess my planner? It doubles as my bullet journal so I have to have it for my homework, to see what events I have on for the week/month and reflect on my mental health as well with my trackers!

My essentials are friends and a planner! The thing to remind me about my classes, homework, revision and study plan; and the people to keep me company (and sane) during this time of rushing😊
my number one essential would be a planner as i am able to keep all the important dates and plans in one place and furthermore i get to be creative with how i want each spread to look like!! :)

Hi! Im currently in SRJC and my number 1 jc essential is THE BLUEORANGE PORTAL bc thats where all the lectures are uploaded. And thats basically my bible if i miss a day of sch or sleep during lessons!!

im from hcjc! my number one essential would be files. with super a lot of worksheets and stuff i keep a huge box file as well as some some l shape files in order to keep somewhat organised or at least i don't lose my worksheets

i was from NYJC and my essential item was a comfortable hoodie cos lecture theatres get pretty cold. And the hoodie can also be a make-shift pillow when you need to take a nap (i.e. fall asleep in class :P).
im from nyjc and my jc essentials are muji notebooks and brush markers bc i write my notes in muji notebooks and use brush markers for calligraphy!! calligraphy helps to make my notes aesthetic and motivate me to study hehe + thats my method of relieving stress!! ☺️☺️
My favourite JC essential is the laptop sleeve as it rewards me by keeping my laptop as i would use to watch videos after studying.
My top three essentials are:
1) A portable battery because I spend long hours in school so my phone usually runs out of battery
2) A soft plushie with a compartment behind it that has a small blanket. It works as a 2 in 1 sleeping kit when I am really sleep deprived. It also helps to cover my legs in the school library when I stay back till night time to study because the skirt is only knee length.
3) Hand cream because too much exposure to aircon dries up the skin. The scent of the Hand cream also keeps me refresh in class
Hi! I'm from MJC and my JC essential would be my Biore oil blotting sheets because I have oily skin and after PE lessons, my face would feel so sticky and these blotting sheets are my saviour. Even when I'm in the LT for lectures, my skin still goes oily. I carry my blotting sheets in my wallet everywhere and it keeps me feeling matte all day!
I'm from VJC!! My number 1 essential is caffeine ☕️ because staying up mugging (or watching tsl) requires me to have a lil extra nudge to stay up and also a jacket as I would literally will freeze to death in the lecture theatre without one ❄️
i'm still in secondary school but my school essential is a planner. i never realised how important planning everything is, especially with the tons of homework or activities for the day.
My current JC essential is a file. It helps to organise all my lecture notes as well as pasting post-it notes for reminders on homeworks and tests x3
I'm from NJC and my top essential is a planner, I cannot live without one because there are too many work to do and I can't remember anything especially in the sleepy classes so I have a habit of taking them down, but whether or not I manage to do it is another thing of course haha
currently studying in VJ and my JC essential is actually hving a jacket because everywhere I go be it LT or classrooms, it's always freezing cold. Fun Fact: one of our LTs is called the 'VJ Fridge' becuz every time u enter the LT, u are sure to get goosebumps frm the coldness!

hello! im from dhs and my jc essential is a jacket because im in a freezing cold audi for lectures most of the time so having a jacket always provide me enough comfort to survive lectures in the audi! 😊
From jjc! One essential is a planner..with all the subjects I take it's really hard to rmbr all those things so planner really helps me! And really loved the small planner from typo as it really has the space for me to fill up with sufficient reminders! May I know how much is the planner
For mine it would be pens and pencils from Muji as they are very simple yet unique in their own way as u can customise ur own like adding some glitters , stickers on it , making it DIY friendly !!
hi there, i'm from national jc and my no. 1 jc essential is mineral powder bc my face tends to get super oily throughout the day. u still gotta look good while mugging ;)

I am from ACSI and my JC essential is definitely a planner and a good file! Planner to list down my priorities and make sure I remember to do my to-do list and file to organize my worksheets and notes!

My personal JC essential is literally books/lecture notes because you need them to hide yourself from teachers when you need to sleep/use phone/eat because they make you seem like you're listening when you're literally dozing off hehehe but on a serious note: like a sheer lip tint because I have very pale lips!!
Hi! I'm from ACJC and my no.1 essentials are highlighters, cute pens, and sleep.... With a nice set of highlighters and pens, I'm even more motivated to revise and study my lecture notes!!!! And of course, sleep. Getting a decent sleep is the reason we get A's!! :-)
Hi SML, thank you for making the JC essentials video, it is very relatable to JC students;))) I am from NYJC and my number 1 JC essential is my box file that contained all my tutorials and lecture notes. It is extremely convenient to tuck all the notes into the box file after classes as we constantly need to change classrooms and LTs. Moreover, the file has a very encouraging sticker that says" a river cuts through a rock not because of its power but its persistence" I will see this note every lesson to persevere on as I come across many failed assignments and grades like U/S in JC.ahahahahahahahahaha I need to be strong to pull through the semester.
SJI kid and my JC essential is my laptop! All of my notes and textbooks are online; my planner is online as well. I can't imagine a day without it.
Tampines JC and my most essential jc item is my water bottle and small snacks, because it keeps me awake through all my pure science and pure boring lectures. 😁

Im from ajc and my number one essential thing to survive jc is definitely a diary planner!! We aren't given handbooks to write on anymore compared to sec sch so a planner is really impt to keep track of the assignments we need to rush to do 😭 plus its easier to keep track of exam dates (dreads) (and also friends birthdays, holidays, outings and what not hehe)
I'm from NYJC and my #1 essential would be the motivation to keep on studying despite failing all the time 🙃 no srsly I think it will be a jacket because there's always a time when you wanna hibernate in the library (or even in the lecture hall) 😎😎
My JC Essential is lip balm, I use the brand Lip Ice too but the lemon flavoured one. I have very dry lips so I always keep one with me and no one has ever noticed me using lip balm!

Well, i go to jurong jc (just like xenia) and i think the most essential item is colourful highlighters and pens. It would allow me to find the exact phrase i want during exams😊
I use them to differentiate different information i need.
I'm from Hwa Chong Institution 😊😊 and my JC essential is snacks!!!! During beaks between lessons the canteen and cafe are always super crowded so we often have little time to eat properly 😭 and food during class helps us to stay motivated and awake too HAHA

The lip tint used it before but not very moisturising sadly. But Maybelline has good moisturising tinted lip balms too!

im from YJC! My no. 1jc essential is jacket and lots of support from friends as it is not easy to walk thru jc life alone, we need our friends to give us a push when we face difficult and wants to give up! As for y jacket is also the no. 1 essential jc items is becoz Omg it gets so cold during exam when we take it in air conditioned room, even in tutorials and lectured as the location is usually air conditioned.

im from rvhs and my JC essential is that kind of plastic transparent hard file which has 2 'kiappers' (for lack of better word) at the side! it's really really convenient to stuff notes into plus since it's transparent, can put notes inside to secretly study for test during lectures hahahaha oops ;)
