Did she just say that overweight people don’t get commented on? Thats such bullsh*t. Infact it’s the opposite. Skinny people RARELY get shamed - it’s always overweight people that get shamed. Sad that someone so influential is saying that
In their elite world, they won't call u fat on your face to show their diplomacy but the opposite will happen. In our middle class world it is the opposite, they tend to bodyshame you opening 😂
Nowadays, Obesity is very common that's why people don't comment. Earlier it was a rare condition to develop that's why people used to bully overweight person.
@@Humanbeing-111 Earlier, it was a sign of wealth for people to be overweight. Today it is a sign of wealth to be thin. Ultimately, bodies are diverse. Bullying is abuse. And we should stop listening to rich people and their obsessions with appearances from size to skin care.
Both underweight and overweight hears the criticism as they don’t fit society criteria . There should be no comparison who gets more criticism . We all should be against the problem not vice versa . Yeahh criticism based on umderweight or overweight could be less or more according to society we are in . But , does it matter ?
Dr. Siddhant has shared many useful pieces of information here that I highly respect and agree with, however as a certified nutritionist, I would like to refute some of the things he has said here. I don't agree with the calories in/calories out concept, unfortunately it's not as simple as that. 100 calories worth of apple is very different from 100 calories worth of kheer. Apples have fiber, which goes into the gut and doesn't get absorbed (hence the calories in an apple are ultimately less because not all 100 calories are being absorbed by the body, unlike with the kheer). Fruit is invariably much much better than sitting with a bowl of white rice. Also because of the thermic effect of food, not all foods have the same effect on the body. When you are digesting complex carbs, meat, and whole unprocessed foods in general, your body is working harder to digest and therefore using more calories to digest that same food (which is a great thing and why we should be eating more unprocessed foods) rather than the chawal or roti which gets digested immediately because they are white starches. Another connection he failed to make is that we are skinny fat as Indians because of our heavy reliance on highly processed carbs and grains like roti and rice. We need to refocus our diets to protein even as vegetarians, and his suggestions of eating pasta, roti and rice as a part of a "simple" diet is not helping with the epidemic of diabetes and obesity that our culture is facing.
What an enlightening episode! Siddhant is very organized and on point. Wonderful to listen to. I have watched many of his talks when he started appearing on youtube, years ago. And Karishma, you are a delight. I think you are one of the best podcast creators out there.
Only if today’s generation spends time in the kitchen with their elders that they would know than paneer ka leftover water is whey. We grew up drinking it everyday in our bachpan
I just really liked this podacast ..its full knowledge, his journey (wonderful, ice breaking), his words for montivation (its wonderful, amazing)..Thanks Karishma for this..Thnaks siddhant for these informations
Talking of changing trends in nutrition..the sad part is today even "research" can't be trusted since it has a commercial angle to it and is sponsored by various lobbies 😢..where does that leave one??

Hello Karishma, I love your podcasts but in the beginning of the podcast I notice at times you are looking in the other direction instead of looking at viewers/camera. You are doing things quite wonderfully hence it’s a small feedback to make them just better.
You are saying 100 gms of dal is hard to consume but 100 gms of hung curd is ? I don't agree. Paneer also gives you igf1...not just protein and isn't meant for human consumption just like milk. Greens, nuts all add up to give enough protein in a day.
Ooh wow great I was just waiting for this good. I saw this video and came to know that you are the founder of Food Darzee. Hi, I have been using Food Darzee from quite a long time, but one thing I will say the food way, proportionate everything is fine, but it’s smell very bad, there is something really Just very disturbing food smells so weird. It’s unexplainable.
very very well articulated guy, i have never really given so much time to any other podcast episode in genral, but this one i couldn't stop, so well informed yet simple to understand extremely knowledgable.
I ve been doing keto last 3 years, my body loves it . And no constipation for me . Low carb vegetables help , aldo you can take high fiber breads or psylliums husks. It’s veryvery easy. Im not a vegetarian so I get to eat meat, red meat fish and eggs. I have more energy . I lost more than 30 pounds and kept it off. My hair and skin is better. I only eat butter / ghee and olive oil , no seed oils. ❤ I hope this helps anyone ❤
It is 1 gm/ kg body weight. However, if someone is sick, recovering from a major surgery or cancer treatment etc. wherein the body is in a ‘catabolic’ state, the requirement of proteins could be nearly 2 - 2.5 gm/ kg body weight.
Genuinely one of the most comprehensive conversations on nutrition, food and what’s good for our body. Thank you! 🙏🏻
Absolutely! ❤️
GRATEFUL❤❤
😊
Thank you Karishma you have changed my life
The sleep cycle thing i did not understand, that one and half hour alarm. Can someone explain this please

Someone said it once to figure out if a person is fatphobic or not. Ask them "Would you rather be skinny shamed or fat shamed."

You could've certainly kept a more mindful thumbnail. 😅

I didn’t understand that part to set alarm 1 & half hour. Does it mean i have to wake up every alarm for the whole night?
How to block you guys here?
I am a fitness freak, I got a lot of info on protein, I don't believe in diet.
Milk is good for health
very very well articulated guy, i have never really given so much time to any other podcast episode in genral, but this one i couldn't stop, so well informed yet simple to understand extremely knowledgable.

Wouldn’t the water residue from hung curd have protein too. And the hung curd it self is casein protein than whey protein?

How about RAW milk from the farm?
Is it 1 gram of protein per kilogram or per pound that you are recommending to eat? Please clarify.
It is 1 gm/ kg body weight. However, if someone is sick, recovering from a major surgery or cancer treatment etc. wherein the body is in a ‘catabolic’ state, the requirement of proteins could be nearly 2 - 2.5 gm/ kg body weight.
Thank you for debunking Dr dimple jangdia's claim that strawberry milk shake is poison. Kindly don't allow such irresponsible claims in your podcast
Everything is okay but that painting is something i can not understand and it distracted me a lot.
Keto is not good in long run,ask any good nutritionist you will know why.
I second this
This podcast has two problems. Doctors aren't nutritionists and moat podcast holders will believe anything anyone who serves a celebrity says
