  • Bubbling in oil, often seen when frying, occurs due to the release of moisture from the food being cooked. As the food heats up, the moisture inside turns into steam, which escapes through the hot oil, creating bubbles. The bubbling indicates that the food is cooking and the moisture is evaporating. It's important to monitor the bubbling, as excessive bubbling can indicate that the oil is too hot, leading to overcooking or burning of the food.
