The txiki transition has really affected the squad reinforcement this season. Not making any signings to avoid giving the new guy someone he doesn't want instead of making a loan at the very least was a big mistake.
That’s a hot take, lol. They brought in Savinho, but he still needs time to gel. I think they were going to integrate more of the younger players (Oscar Bob, Lewis, & McAtee) into the squad. Leveraging the older players to help them grow was probably the plan, but failed once the injuries grew.
@otterpoopie savinho is a city group player. It was a no brainer with Riyad leaving.
It's because we have a big court case ongoing right now. You aren't gonna make big investments during this time. That should be pretty obvious
Pep - give up on the 3-1-6 formation as it’s an absolute disaster for us and a give-me for every opponent we play! Adapt your tactics, go back to a back 4 and drop your absurdly high back line. Stop making it so easy for the opposition, any opposition, to score.
It’s only been 12 PL games and we’ve already conceded 50% of the total PL goals we conceded last season!!!! At this rate, we won’t make it into the top 5. Until Pep stops with his stubbornness, City will continue to drop more and more points
Would you be saying the same if we won the last game after going up 2-0 ? It's football sometimes we don't finish and it happens. How can you expect Pep to completely change his style when he's won over 30 trophies with this style???!! Stop over reacting. It's a long season.
@@gruevlock24 Yes. I’ve been having a moan about Pep’s poor tactics since last season when he decided to play a wingback system which allowed every team we played had plenty of chances for goals on the counter down the flanks. We conceded 133%+ more goal last season to the counter than the season before. I think we won the PL riding our luck and in spite of Pep and not bc of him as I would say the case in all previous years.
This season is it’s been more of the same. A refusal to adapt tactics to circumstances with the squad. Our midfield is nonexistent and therefore gets overrun in nearly every transition. One would think then, the o help combat that and the goals we concede, to adapt the defensive shape and drop the backline. Do anything we can to make it more difficult for the opposition. Yet Pep refuses to do so and as such, we’ve now had 5 defeats in a row with each one being slightly worse than that which preceded it.
What sickens me is the happy clappers who treat Pep like a cult; that’s he’s infallible and how dare anyone question him. I’ll question him. Love Pep and he deserves all the plaudits when he does well. But he also deserves criticism when he makes mistakes and when he seemingly makes the same ones over and over, he absolutely must be questioned
Guys you need to relax we are Manchester city it’s all good. It happens to the best and we are the best just like Real Madrid. They got smashed by Barcelona 4-0 and now we got smashed by Spurs like always we get smashed by spurs They are the only team that own us and we have to admit it and we can’t do shit about it. We are just cursed by them. It is what it is, we will have our revenge maybe not this season but we will have it and we will eat good don’t worry we need to stick together because this is a learning point, we need to support each other. We need to support a team. We need to support the coach. We need to show our strength. We need to learn from these things. We are just like babies. We are so used to winning so much that losing like this feels like the end of the world, but it’s not this is gonna be the best turning point for us because when we start winning again, it’s gonna feel so much better than before. When we used to win every game that it feels boring now it’s going to be exciting. It’s going to be fresh. It’s going to be new. You will feel very happy so don’t worry guys just have some patience.

Pep is almost crying, tired, he probably doesn't know what's happening, and he's struggling to find out. The players have aged? The players are having low energy with him? The players still want him as a manager? The players are tired? Are they unfit? Are they just without chemistry? Every player in Man City is a high quality and those results really doesn't make any sense. So what's the real reason? Pepe will have only one way: bring something new, something he never tried before. He will have to bring something football has never see.
