I have not listened to any other podcast but I have watched all of yours to date. I sit here with a smile on my face or laughing out loud cuz you guys are just plain fun. Keep it up!
2:12 -- According to Merriam-Webster lawyer is pronounced both ways... Samuel Clemens once said, "A good lawyer knows the law; a clever one takes the judge to lunch".
I was driving my family, wife and 4 Boys, up to Illinois from Ft.Worth Texas. My oldest son, who sat right behind me, had a catsup pack and was twisting it like you said, not really paying attention. Naturally it exploded and hit me right in the back of the head. My wife said that if I could have seen his face I would have wrecked the car. I immediately said "What the Hell" and she lost it, laughing until she almost peed her pants. I didn't think it was so funny, but I didn't get to see his face, al I heard was him Saying: I'm sorry Dad I didn't know it would do that". My wife wiped it off my head and I stopped at the next rest area to clean up. Today I still remind him of the catsup packet and we all have a good laugh!
Here’s a great example for fuel savings and how much it adds up. I have two trucks currently. A 2005 Peterbilt 379 EXHD with the 18 speed and 500 caterpillar Acert. A beast of a truck but TERRIBLE mpg. So I went and bought a 2020 Peterbilt 579, which is the aerodynamic model. 455 paccar. The fuel savings ALONE pays BOTH truck payments and still puts more money into my bank account, bc the 379 is parked. Just waiting to sell. But I’m still paying for it, insurance, everything. Yet my fuel savings pays ALL of it and then some. Talking over 4K a month for everything. Minimum Anyway loved the podcast as usual!
Turn key is owned by a group out of Okc area and was started be an ex nfl player along with some college buddies who are now attorneys and a state representative for Oklahoma! I believe that ownership group has changed.
Hey Luke, I think it’s pretty awesome that you listen to Evan, glover, jocko , I was wondering if you have listened to cleared hot with Andy stumpf ? His pod is one of my favorites! Or if you’ve listened to Jack carrs pod or his books? That’s a group of friends that I’d like to meet one day ! I’d also love to meet you and your brother as well I love listening to the pod while driving I’m currently hauling milk and crème around for Dfa I used to pull a hopper around and really miss it ! So it’s awesome hearing the stories from Jax ! Anyways take care and keep up the great work! ,josh
Some people get an ounce of power and it goes straight to their head . See it a lot in construction a guy that was really cool to work with moves up to a foreman position and is just miserable to work with until they get knocked down a peg a 2
Oh you guys what a great episode. My face hurts from laughing so hard! I’ll never be able to look at ketchup packets again without thinking of “condoments”🤣🤣🤣 Luke thank you for a wonderful prank to play on my friend!🤣 Rub some bourbon on those poor babies’ gums, that’s all we had to use back in the day when my babies were teething and it really works! No, it won’t hurt them or turn them into alcoholics like my granddaughter thought! Thank you young men for the wonderful, entertaining podcast. It makes my day every time. Love you guys and your stories. ❤️🙏
It is carefully crafted and practiced pronunciation inspired by the caterpillar on Alice in Wonderland. It has taken many years to perfect the sound. Thanks for noticing!
Luke that was some funny shit I don’t think I will use any kind of ketchup packets or any think that comes in packets. I think there is a lot of stuff go on in jail’s you probably don’t even hear a poult.
I would told him there were no signs saying don’t get in your trailer so don’t cuss at me because I will get down and you tell me this stuff to my face and we will fix this situation right now.
Would you believe that in some states a child conceived in a marriage is automatically the financial responsibility of the husband. Even if a paternity test proves otherwise. I would suck if the guards husband ended up paying child support for the convicts child. Thank fully this is not the case in NY. The paternity father is responsible for child support. Atleast that is one good thing about NY.
Didn't know that...Could you imagine being responsible for a husband being responsible for a child conceived in that manner...Now a days, actually yes I could!
Hey thats awesome. Congratulations on the TWINS, My Twins are 40? now. unfortunately I do not remember their exact age, as I have not talked to them in over 20 years. so I do not know how they are or where they are. They are a girl boy set. one and done. thankfully so never hadda go through that part with my ex also. lol. But any way is awesome yous got twins too.
If I was president I would make all inmates do labor for free thats how we teech them to not go back and get free laborers at the same time because we all help pay for there food and roof over their head that's the least we should get out of them period and that will give them an activity as well lol and congratulations on your twins brother🎉👊
Obviously your supposed to know his rules without actually having a signe for it oh man that was rude of him and his buddy sorry you had to deal with that👊

This story really made me laugh. I have a feeling I know exactly what his face looked like!
Get Chris on the Steady at the Wheel podcast, I am willing to bet he has some funny AF stories! You can just tell he has some wild man in him.
I’m gonna have him on again to tell everyone the story of how he “got his name at the top of the board” at a trucking company he use to drive at!
This is a fire episode and my face hurts from laughing so much, thanks yall sending some love from California👊🙏😎

Crazy how a few better MPG translates into so much money with these trucks!

21:52 -- Is it 'ke-chup' or 'ka-chup' or 'kat-sup'? Actually. it's all three-- according to Merriam-Webster.
Makes sense as I'm pretty sure I've heard it all three ways.

Thanks you. We are in the process of upgrading cameras so hopefully we will not have this issue to much longer to deal with!
