I feel your pain about staging. We were at Amarillo a couple of weeks ago and some dragster did the same thing to my brother. Video recorded the whole thing. Over 2 minutes in pre stage because some dragster couldn't trip the light. The track guys were bending something on his car to get it to trip the light. That pretty much cooked off his engine with low tension rings. You got off easy but, it still sucks. Two hours to get in is ridiculous for cars people are competing in the event. Glad you had fun though.

Big events like Duct Tape Drags bring out people that are wet behind the ears when it comes to racing or people that are running a new build (in this case cheap builds). You just need to relax and have a good time. If you are concerned about that issue, let the other guy stage first. This is the kind of thing you will get at that type of event and being upset about it just makes you come across like stuck up racing prick that runs off new people. @@OneMoreBolt we had a good time. I don’t think he meant to burn me down. He was over there burning the tires off. Past the lights. Staged. Then hopped past the lights again. Then backed up.
