    hey dude! great review :)
so im looking for tablet and a friend of mine has also a surface pro (i think). hes very happy with it. im thinking about getting the pro 5 or 7 (cause they on sale rn). im a student so i would need it for some cad programs (autocad brixcad), excel, maybe some "more or less simple" geo modelling programs like surfer so not in a graphic designer way more for like architectal and engineering things. And no 3d just 2d (drawing stuff in a few dozen layers). you got any experience with that? also i like to write in uni by hand. you maybe also got any experience with the pen mode and how the writing feels with it? ^^ saw some collegues who wrote with a pen on a blank paper, added a photo to it or some screenshots from pdf or edited the pdfs right on it, which is awesome. you save so much time and everythings in order with additional infos. its everything u need! And for gaming. i would not use it "hard for gaming". just snap (card game), hots (moba), rocket league but not very graphic intese games like these AAA bombs :D (more "indie-ish" titels)
great review :) keep it up

Hi, thank you for visiting. Autocad and brixcad requires a GPU and the surface line.up even the surface pro 9 doesnt have a GPU but only a integrated card. All of the processes of that program will stress the cpu. I dont suggest this for it esp for gaming because it has a very small fan. You will have issues in the this PC in 2 years if you do it this way. I own a pc shop 3 years ago and the most common thing that gets broken first in heavy gaming is the ram and GPu, the ram of surface pc is not replaceable. I will see the surface studio soon if it can handle your needs.

@@ChannysPC hey thanks for the respone :) forgot to mention that it would be NOT necessery to game on that thing. got a gaming pc at home. but ngl i didnt research the graphics unit on that thing ^^ i thought the "newer" integrated graphics card can already run simple games (not 8bit or emus) ;D
my old acer, which is 6 years old and a convertible, can run the programs i mentioned above, even though he nearly dies after opening the 10th browser tab. but you know in a very easy way you can do still quick work with it if you need to change plot style, some lines, layout (if you re doing that stuff on a0 it gets huuuge, so u check 987749 times before finally print. these printers are huge you have to mobile to get to them and if you dont have something to edit on the go its problematic. just an example), edit pdfs excel and so on... like i mentioned even if its some cad programs or simple gis things it works and does its job for simple tasks. the main work im doing is on my desktop at home. it would be mainly for stundent things eg writing (pen function) during lessons, cause u know paper chaos, editing papers pdfs, but also doing things above.
so it does not has to be top shelv stuff what i need, cause i would be just using it besides the student stuff a lil bit for work or stream in bed/holidays. gaming would be last spot on that list :)
edit: im looking for "convertible" like, where you can attach/dettach a keyboard and have a port, or something like that to connect a mouse (there a connecter for usb to x for everything)

Yes if you want to do regular tasks and not game. Very portable, touchscreen is nice, and when you throw linux on it it'll run even better.
