Masjid is 10 mins walking distance, am I obliged to pray in the masjid? assim al hakeem JAL

I’ve never been able to attend congregational prayer because the closest masjid is a few hour walk and about a 20 minute drive. I’m not able to drive there because it’s completely in the middle of nowhere and costs a ton, which I don’t have enough money for that. It means that I’ve only ever prayed at home. The only other masjid kind of on my route is about a 5-6 hour walk from my home

brother what costs a ton? the deeds of praying in congregation subhanallah is worth way more than you could think! 20 minute drive is nothing, start to pray in the masjid and make dua, inshallah you will get more baraqah in your life and money will no longer be a problem.

its impossible to hear a human voice from 1km away without speaker, that being said its highly recommended to still go

no excuse to not pray in the masjid. subhanallah we are blessed with being able to walk, and praying every day would not be enough to appreciate these blessings! please do let shaytaan trick you into reading at home instead of the masjid.
