@@towboatjeff People who buy HF don't cross shop Milwaukee. People who shop HF are...um, folks of modest means. Jacking up the price 60% means many will no longer be able to afford anything new.
The trailer looks promising. Harbor Freight is going to need larger square footage stores! I realize the trailers will be in boxes and not put together. I ment that with all the new products in general, HF will need larger stores.
Those new ratchets look amazing! I like that they're migrating to the Snapon Dual 80-style mechanism, and I'm glad we get a locking flex head. Cant wait to get ahold of one
Thanks! I normally don’t follow this channel, but love HF tools and I saw this video float into my feed. I saw a compact Hercules cordless bandsaw! I wonder when that will be out! 😃
I like how they're finally coming out with not only the locking flex head socket wrenches, but also the extra-long handles. A long time coming, but I can't wait to see them in the stores. From other videos where they're shown up close and you can see the lock switches better, they look like they're made by the same company as Gearwrench.
Once the new tariffs get in place Harbor Freight's prices are going to skyrocket. Hopefully they can source manufacturing domestically again, heck maybe even get some HF Made in the USA tools.
Good catch! @ 7:43 it looks like they have a few more sets as well.. an extendable locking flex head ⅜” ratchet with ¼” and ⅜” socket sets would be the perfect companion to the iconic (ha) Icon 35pc ¼” locking flex head ratchet bit set.
Just my thoughts on harbor freight in general. First to put this in perspective I am 66 plus years old I started buying tools back in the middle 70's when I got my first car. I see harbor freight becoming what craftsman was back then, a good solid tool like that has a price point for everyone. BTW I still have and use all of the tools I purchased back then.
Oh, baby. That trailer looks mighty sweet. And I now realize why my HF doesn't have the mini toolboxes in stock. I would have already bought them. But now, I can wait for the Black Friday sale and get them for $10, assuming they're in stock then! My wife has two Kobalts, and 1 of them has the matching 3 drawer base cabinet. She loves those things! Uses them as jewelry boxes. Now she's jonesing for the US Generals, but those will be mine! As long as she doesn't want the 56" Icon roll cabinet and top box for her jewelry, I'll be OK! Shine On!
Weird, I went to one of my stores here in Denver last night & they had a dozen on display in different colors as soon as I walked in the door... $18 ea if I remember correctly.
on the app for my store they don’t even say back in stock soon they just have them listen as unavailable 🥲 i’m assuming it’s to save stock like the other person that replied to you said
I have seen some interesting things show up in the inventory system. More brushless options listed as "not final" No pictures though. I'm just hoping the next impacts are also more compact than the current lineup. Currently Milwaukee M12 series definitely has the edge over Hercules 12v in that regard.
I seriously like the trailer, those rear stabilizer posts are a nice touch. You know within the first week some poor soul is going to forget about them being down and take off with a fully loaded trailer. Hopefully the shop down the road can cut, heat, bend and twist the frame rails back into position.
The Harbor Freight booth was not only massive but it was packed full of people and as large if not larger than the Milwalkee booth, SEMA was such a great show this year!
4:46 I want to grab some strong magnets and use them to attach those mini toolboxes to the side of a 2 post lift or somewhere to put the most used sockets and little tools that don't get used all the time
Can't beat the Skilsaw 5155 corded rear handle circ saw... It's too damn good +20yrs of use and still ripping.. I do want the 12v Hercules ratchet impact.
I have no issue with the whole “no date available anymore” and the “reason” being because “we want to get it right.” However, it seems like they are just going from 1 extreme to the other. Both extremes do not work. They should meet somewhere in the middle, and at least give the year or the quarter/quarters. Thats what most other companies do and it seems to be a solid formula.
That's what I'm screaming! I just got done adapting my cutoff tool to use rolocs, but I could just switch it to a band file if that right angle is coming out.
I bought one and was able to fit all my tools that I use to make and test Ethernet cables. It's small enough to not take up a lot of desk space. I'll pickup a few more when they go on sale for $10.
They used to have a section of most all of the pittsburg chrome sockets, I think Isaw a couple. Same on warrior drill bits, you could find almost every size, not since they have good ,better ,best. They had to make room for three of everything.
I really like that flatbed with the track system. Probably can turn it into a motorcycle trailer pretty easily. I'm still annoyed that I invested in the Hercules line and it's the Bauer line that gets the most items like inflators, USB chargers/inverters, and other such useful accessories... much like Milwaukee gets for its lineup of premium tools. Why can't the HF premium lineup have similar?
They should make the fold down tailgate on the trailer to be a dual use as the loading jacks. Just make it so it pins down with the same pin used to hold it up. Also longer ramps made from aluminum would be mo'betta.
I figured this would be more detailed. Been waiting to see the new icon lights in different colors. More on the ratchets and build. I see patent pending. Is it their design?
I got all of my tools from Harbor Freight and they're good quality with great quality tools I can't believe they coming out with all this extra stuff I got one of your backhoes and that thing's awesome good and strong
I think majority would agree with you on taking the time to release tools. Tired of all of these companies thinking they need a new product every week, month, day, or year. Not just tool companies either. Do the RND, give us a good product when it’s complete, and we will keep coming back when that good product kicks the bucket.
That trailer is really well thought out. Nice!
Man, every year Harbor Freight continues to bring more and more quality. I love it.
Awsome video! This reminds me of Sears Craftsman dept. of the late 80s and 90s! For men Tool displays are like flowers to woman!!
Hercules needs to come out with a copper press tool for plumbing. And make them a fraction of Milwaukee. Make it happen Harbour Frieght!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can't happen now...not with the new Trump Tariffs that go into effect in 2025.
@MrSloika Milwaukee tools come outta China too. So a hercules would be cheaper than Milwaukee still.
Maybe another alternative that isn't thousands

Yea I need that trailer literally spaced out like the showroom floor will be my first purchase when it comes out!
The new trailer looks perfect for my needs, and I like all the design thought that has gone into it.
How much you thinks it’s gonna cost
@@joshuamorris9050 I think it said $999, but I'm sure all those accessories are add-ons.

That mini badlands jack seems perfect
Wow I can't wait for that icon 3/8 socket wrench with locking flex head

@sheepdog3828 I want to construct a removable camper to attach to it
Looks like it's the right time, now!
Something else must be up.
Just will have to wait. We will see the same lineup at SIMA 2025.
@@JasonBlairthis is what I’m looking to do as well! I’ve been holding out since last years announcement. Seems like the perfect platform for it.

Ha ha. Bet there will be no tariffs for stuff from Russia. Bet most manufacturing will move there.

I don't know about that. Where will the trump ties be made then? Right now they're made in China.
I really hope we don’t have to wait until fall 2025 for the g2 icon ratchets.
U will, HF are slow in bringing stuff out.
They will be out in 2 months in Southern Califonia then whatever it takes to ship out the new merchandise across country
@ that’s awesome thanks for the update
HF keeps upping their game. The bench top belt sander might be the thing for custom knife builders and the like.

I want that expanded flexible-ratchet bit kit! 😂

Icon Locking flex head ratchets is what I need
Exactly why I haven't got an Icon Flex yet.. Idk it's just nice having the ability to lock it out over a ball detent.
I was pissed when I bought the little 1/4" Icon and found it had a locking head!
My 3/8" does not, when it gets too wobble headed, back it goes.
Yup ill be looking at that trailer. Mines getting long in the tooth and iffy and thats a nice setup
Went to HF today. The mini tool box was pulled by corporate yesterday. They had them but could not sell them to me.

Have they shown any cold cut metal cutting chop saws like the Evolution?

Any word on whether the "soft release" on the Badland jack is coming to other models? That would be a nice feature across the board.
Luvin that Haulmaster Trailer
I feel major deja vu with that trailer, thought the exact same thing was at last year's show or something
I would love a haul master trailer that was dual axels 7x14 with the options they showed.
Darn it. I was hoping once the dust collector came out that there would be a track saw and domino copy.
I mean, this is an automotive show, not a woodworking show…there’s still hope
The Harbor Freight booth was not only massive but it was packed full of people and as large if not larger than the Milwalkee booth, SEMA was such a great show this year!
Definitely got my eye on that rear handle circ saw and trailer!
Love that they are taking more time to develop better products. Love this place!
I'll be standing in line for that trailer... as soon as there is a coupon for it.
I've been waiting for the 5 x 10 trailer since last year at this time. Looks like they have it dialed in.
I really like the trailer. I don't need it as I have a trailer in that size, but I still want it.
Sorry we missed you at the show @The Den Of Tools
The blue icon flip light looked cool!
The trailer was talked about last year. I've been waiting for it for a year. It was supposed to be out this summer.

How about some car lifts...

When is the trailer being released?
I'm looking forward to it, but boy, the waiting part is cruel, lol😂
I was hoping for an update to the ICON boxes and flesh them out like the USG line
I don't understand... Whats the big deal about tiny tool boxes? What are people using them for? Seems pointless to me.
