@madrugada105 what hes trying to say is- walk around with it for a bit til the signal gets fuzzy. when it does go in that direction till u here the morse code. or bring it to the end of the map,i dunno. check anothet one of these achievement vids that show u where u have to bring it...
@cappenguim The dropoff locations are where you get the morse code/whatever signal, and where the light goes from red to green (The person who made the video appears to have done it already). If you get no signal, you get no achievement.
I didn't have to drop them off to get them to count, truthfully. I just stood in the area, waited for the light to turn green, then threw them into the particle field.
Grr... I didn't stop to think that there might be 2 or more in a chamber! Played some Narbacular Drop after I almost got this one. Great to get more play out of this game! Back to it tonight.
@smarttarts i found about 20 of the radios myself but couldnt find the others. I looked at the achievement on steam and saw a picture of a radio so i knew it had something to do with the radio so i experimented walking around with the radio and i found out that thyere were morse codes

Not only that, but when you destroy the radio and put the audio clip in reverse it either says "eli is alive" or "is anyone out there" or something. And one of the decoded messages of the "dinosour" (w/e that means) is "the frog jumps over the lazy dog" or something like that. Somebody PLEASE tell me what all this shit means! Also, the images state that you gotta use dead technology. WTF

I finished the game whilst trying to complete this achievement. I already beat the game and had two radio transmissions left. BUT when the final sequence played out,(and yes, I played completed the game for the second time.) I heard someone say something about waiting and escorting me to a party, I don't know, than dragged me back? Could I have discover a easter egg?

ok i have portal on stem and when i start the game i take the radio where you take it but nothing happens the music keeps on playing also i try do do some achievment like hit a turret with another turrent and the achievment doesnt unlock why?
I have the steam version, this achivement is in the list, but the radio at the beginning has not the green light, and make no noise on the right spot. Why? D: Maybe i have to finish the game once and then replay it?
@Weriton001 if you have non-steam portal, then nothing will happen because "Transmission Received" is name of Achievement. If you have steam version then you maybe did it wrong?
When you bring them to there drop off it should make different sounds than the radio. If your radio light turns green then you should get 1 / 26 radios. unless you turned on console ( Achievements dont work if u turn on console ) These achievements are only possible on Steam Only. Please Note That this video is Refering To Portal and Not Portal 2.

BIG tip on chamber 15 the second radio, its easier if you move backwards while you're coming UP OUT of the portal

Thank for the tip on chamber 09. That one was my Kryptonite.
In chamber 12 you can put a portal on the slant and one on the very bottom then jump off the first ledge you jumped off.

I somehow managed to knock it into the field where it burned
I had to restart
bei 3:43 wenn man das radio mitnimmt dann macht es was andres. so wie in portal 2 wo man es in versteg vom red man bringt.
you know where to drop if the radio makes crazy sounds something like hissing and its louder if u come close to the drop off point
in test chamber 7 you dont need to make portal under the elevators. you can just crouch

you have to beat the game first. there should be a radio right on the table when you wake up

what i think happened is they got rid of the achievement for some reason
