I'm about a month late, but thank you for reacting to my White Lie SFM series. And I'm actually glad you don't like her justification for her actions because you're not supposed to. Her actions were monstrous, even if they were done in some misguided means of protecting the ones she cared for. Whatever justification she has is weak when put up against the fact that the people she murdered technically did nothing wrong, all to protect her main group of Coach and the soldier. And she end up losing them because of her actions.
The story was written to be a "protagonist's journey to villainy" right from the beginning.

Just so you know, I've been a silent viewer of your channel for years now, so imagine my surprise when one of my friends told me you two reacted to my White Lie series. It was quite surreal :D But hey, if you want more White Lie to react to, there's the short videos. They're technically deleted scenes (to cut down on video length) but they might fill in some holes in the plot.

Zoey did not find her voice back because she got beat up by the Angles of Death, she never lost it in the first place, she lied about all of it. Being confronted with everything by Coach just finally pushed her over the edge, she got scared, her facade broke and she couldn't keep up lying anymore. Though seeing how Coach, obviously, didn't react well to the "truth", she had to make a heartbreaking decision. This series really is a rollercoaster of emotions, ups and downs, lots of them, with a constant somber undertone. However I love how they handled Nick in this series, they really gave him the justice he deserves and really good moments, glad he's the one to survive all of it in the end with a great rescue scene!
The official character sheet states that she was strangled by her infected dad and Coach saved him. That's how she lost her voice.
And then her texts she says she got it back from the beating.

@@Ceelker Ah, interesting. I remember some people once telling me that her sheet is not accurate to make her look like she's lying about herself, to fit with the title of the series. Thanks for correcting me, but knowing that makes me like it less now that is very silly xd
Tasty Cools is definitely the next L4D related thing you should watch. It's a series that keeps getting better each episode

Yeah, the fact that Zoey is a psycho, that gone on a murder spree was a surprise for me. Also song about zombies that want to eat your brains is a i game song that can randomly start on jukebox and alert horde in L4D2

The song is radioactive. The "creepy dude" is Keith. You saw him on the poster for EnK Garage. Lewis is Survivor_Manager aka Beta Louis, just like Survivor_TeenAngst and Survivor_Biker are beta zoey and francis respectively.

Omg this was such a interesting storyline I literally watched all 3 in one sitting but the ending was not what I was expecting it was depressing with her being a murder and with her killing all of the people she was with from basically the start . But always this was such a good series and I had fun seeing you guys react to this new series
The white lie series is so iconic and legendary! I absolutely love it!
It does feel like the creator had a real "OC bias" with the ending. The fact that Zoey both didn't speak as well as have 2 different colored eyes always suggested (to me atleast) that she was a sort of original character for the creator, using Zoey as a base (it really screamed overtuned design). I get that the creator probably thought that the justification given was good enough, although you could also say that people always find a way to justify what they've done, even if it's completely wrong. So the fact that Zoey's justification was so wrong is not unrealistic. Doesn't mean it wasn't a weak justification
Yeah in real life people use crap excuses all the time. But to have the twist be really effective the justification needed to be good otherwise it is unsatisfying and seems like the twist was put in just to have a twist 🤔
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames I completely agree. The ending is pretty unsatisfying, especially compared to how well things started out. I'm happy atleast Nick managed to be a good guy in the end. This series had Nick still be a complete a-hole, but there were also far more likeable scenes with him too.
@@mistermayonl.yeah. He felt like how Valve envisioned Nick while creating his character (likeable, yet sarcastic a-hole), but now with a more loveable undertone given to him.

There is more to this if you watch the deleted scenes and explained what happened to coach at the end of it all
I believe the creator have alternative story where Ellis was alive.
You should’ve included the outtakes in this as i they would’ve provided a bit more context and missing scenes

Evil people justify their evil and we've all done that,more or less. Evil is ultimately selfish and wrong decision that may at first seem like good decision but at the end brings nothing good. Zoe got everybody killed and she was justifing it and saying she meant it for good,for wellbeing of her friends. Evil is opposite of good and it's kinda funny how there would be no evil if there was no good first. Evil is corrupted good.

So basically, Zoey went mad after the death of Ellis. Like she said, ever since Louis's group joined them things went to the worse. But what I don't understand is why she killed Louis and the two Francises. They didn't deserve to die, they were the ones that refused to leave Ellis. It's a weird situation and I got a little confused the first time I watched it, but Zoey killing Coach was cruel

even till this day I don't get why people liked this series so much it was so fucking good in the beginning but as soon as ellie and all these other characters showed up the story just got more and more confusing and convoluted
Completely agree, Episode 2 started strong but as soon as they start throwing in the other characters it started to feel like a kid playing with GI Joe throwing in his Batman and Spider-Man toys just because. Doesn't help that it didn't feel like they justified them being there outside of fan service and that the twists reasoning was weak as hell.
Wondering if they had the series written from beginning or wrote it as they went 🤔
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGameslol same. This is my personal opinion, but I feel like this went from an actual story to a fan fiction, just for the creator to remember their first intentions, just to try and tie everything together with that ending.
