The moment the ball made contact with the bat he knew it was gone. He spent all of 1 second watching it after contact and never looked back. Absolutely epic

He has a chance to be a 40 Home Run guy, he really does. He's only 22. Like any kid in their first try in The Bigs, the pitchers adjusted back to him, and he's got to learn to adjust back to them. But he has incredible power. He hit a home run earlier in '24, I think it was in Tampa, where Tom Hamilton said when he made contact, it was so loud that it made some people flinch. And on top of that, as big a man as he is, he's an excellent athlete, and plays a good RF.
Noel was 1-16 this postseason and for him to deliver that swing to tie the game might be the momentum change he needed in this series. Game 4 is gonna be pure firewroks.
I’m a redsoxs fan so Cleveland is obviously the team I’m rooting for and this game did not disappoint!, I love the Mario coin noise at home plate gave me chills lol
@@anonymouscommenter7689 I lived in New Jersey. I was in 5th grade. The only Red Sox fan in my school. I came in the next morning everyone was sad but I stayed quiet after Game 4. Then when they won the World Series in 04 I was even more happy and came in the next morning flexing my jersey. And I played Hooky going to the Parade
Deafening crack of the bat. Elite bat flip. Ice cold trot around the bases. Nonchalant walk through the dugout. Christmas has indeed come early this year. Take a bow, Noel.
What a freaking shot. Bravo, Cleveland. Buckle in. We have a series on our hands. I hope Gil and Cole win the next 2 and make it a lot less nerve wracking but as a baseball fan.... lets go.
What a game… I actually turned it off in frustration at the bottom of the ninth with two outs and two strikes, just to check ESPN a few minutes later to see big Christmas tied it 😮😮😮… Wow
Noel and the pitcher both knew that one was gone the second he hit it. Noel with the instant bat flip and slow steps before the HR trot, and the pitcher didn't even bother looking back, the perfect mixture of disbelief and acceptance.
Before Noel came on... Thomas had 2 strikes... Weaver pitched 3 balls before Thomas hit a double off the wall then to bring on Big Christmas... imagine if Weaver had just gotten 1 more strike man....
I called it. I said to myself when i saw Noel coming up to pinch hit, i knew the guy before had to get on base for him to do what he did there. Knew nothing abt him, but he looked like a POWER hitter.
Anyone who says baseball is boring…I give you the post season.
100%!!!
Gave me goosebumps

The call from Brian Anderson was just as epic as that HR. Oh my goodness
even as a cardinal fan who hates the team he calls for, i think ba is awesome
I feel Brian Anderson should be calling NFL games either for CBS or Amazon. He’s paid his dues.

‘Twas great camera work
The Mets have grimace. We have old St. Nick
1:40 that swing changed the bat man's whole demeanor 😂
😂
I just watched the clip again to show my friend that Santa was in the crowd 😂

I have to say HUGE for him and the Guardians that’s what baseball is all about gotta love it
yeah that's a top 5 bat flip of all time
Normally I always want to hear Tom Hamilton's call on these moments but this was a rare time when a "neutral" announcer really stepped up!
