Awesome video 🔥 I’ve been to Coachella every year since 2009 and the lineup almost doesn’t matter once the festival starts. The atmosphere and unique music from all over the world is selected to give everyone an unforgettable experience. The undercard is stacked this year even if people don’t like the headliners.

2014 was my first Coachella!! I remember the excitement I felt when I first saw that lineup too 😩
And I honestly like this year’s lineup! Hatsune Miku is def in my must-see list bc I know that it’ll be a unique experience at Coachella. Def agree the vibes of this year’s lineup is different from others, but still looking forward to it!
Thought the 2022 and 2023 lineups were sick, but I also got super lucky that I love house music and went weekend 2 last year. 2024 is definitely lacking but like you said its not bad if you look closely at the undercard. This is the least excited I’ve been in a while though
Totally agree! Something just doesn't hit the same but it doesn't mean it's bad. There's a ton of acts I want to see but festival dynamics are without a doubt changing.

2023 would have been the year to go for me since they had Bad Bunny. Would have loved to go to that one. This 2024 sucks badly....
I think saying it "sucks badly" is a little too harsh. There's a lot of great talent and a lot of acts who'll be huge in a couple years. The key word is couple of years. This lineup lacks "glue," aka generational acts that appeal to as many people as possible. A lot of artists on this lineup are dominating their niches on TikTok. Coachella and festivals are changing to fit the balance of TikTok and traditional methods aren't working the same. Only time will tell how the wider festival scene will be effected (also tix hella pricey).
@@Ceeds Wrong word usage, my bad. I meant "sucks badly" for me. Nothing against the artists or their talent or the event itself. It was more among the lines of "oh i can finally make to Coachella this year, last year I missed going to see Bad Bunny" then after seeing the line-up just disappointed because none of my favorite artists are on the line-up. Does not mean that it could potentially be the best line up for someone else.
Def on the same page now! Last years lineup was so solid, especially with the addition of Skrillex, Four Tet, and Fred again.. I think we're going to see festivals struggle these next few years trying to figure out how to appeal to wider markets. One trend I've noticed is much more genre focused festivals. Concerts and festivals also just getting so so expensive.
