For the launch control you push the clutch in floor it then dump the clutch. Not dump the clutch then floor it. That pretty much defeats the purpose of launch control

@@tiszole18basically instead of pulling your left foot straight back fast, instead you slide it off the clutch pedal to the left. Instantly engages or ‘dumps’ the clutch fastest possible way.

Yea. You hold the gas down then pop the clutch, it should hold the rpm’s at whatever you set til you release the clutch.

in my opinion…. the launch control feature sucks. your rpm’s drop straight to 1k and you’re not making any power from 1k to 3k rpms, so your accleleration in 1st gear until around 20 is super slow. it’s way faster to just slip the clutch and practice your launches that way

So does this mean that the vehicle will roll (front or back) if it's not on perfectly level ground since the brake never comes into play?

no it has brake hold, its a very easy to drive kind of manual car

If needed use line lock, that holds the front brakes till you launch.

Quick question do you know the difference in the 1320 challenger and the scat pack I never knew the difference in between them

1320s you can only get in an automatic. They have a trans brake installed on them which other models don’t have. It’s meant to launch better. I believe the tires are different too.

I had a 2014 srt8 manual and the launch control on that was a little different. I thought you could set it and dump the clutch. Not so much. If you dumped the clutch it would wheel hop like crazy. You had to slip the clutch on those.
