Just recently I bought Havels 13 wave fins 2900W. Switching it on for whole night doesn't make much difference. Is it supposed to be very hot for the fins to touch? I pointed the infrared thermometer and it reads around 110° F. Is that normal or its defective?

Just a personal choice as i feel gold and black looks more dapper than gold and white. My purchase Price was INR 9810 from Amazon on Oct 29 I purchased after squeezing out 10% credit card discount. Hi! I have purchased 13fin havells ofr recently. It is able to increase the room temperature by an overall 3 degress only, for example after nearly 45mins of use it is able bring 24 to 27 degress at max settings. Is that all the ofr can do? Or can it do any better?

@@vasudharakshit in my experience, Oil heaters take too long to heat up the room and don’t do a good job spreading the heating. They take too much space as well. I returne my 11 fin Usha OFR in 2020.

Hi Shubhin, Today I purchased 1 Oil Heater from Crompton with 9 fins. After using for more than 5 hours its not producing that much heat. The Shopkeeper says its like that only. He suggested that i call customer care for testing. Kindly suggest if Crompton oil heaters are like that only.

cracks in paint dont make any difference to the working it just hampers your asthetics

Hi, seems you've been using the oil room heater since a long time. I'm new to this. After I brought the radiator home, I see 2 cracks developed in new radiator fins on the periphery. Is it normal? (the heater is not leaking)
i think the crack will be just of the paint so no need to worry
I have a Usha 9 fin without PTC fan. Do you think PTC fan plays an important role in heating up the room. I do not find my OFR effective enough.
it does heat up but the biggest advantage of oil heater is it doesnt create any dryness.

yes it does get hot not very safe around kids below 3 years other than that its fine

Black and decker is also good if you are tight on budget i have given some cheaper models in description you can buy from that also becasue i dont this these oil heaters stop working they are very simple to make and super long life.
But I asked for power consumption at 1st point at lowest level in 13 fins use.?

Garam thi ho jate hain but kids don't usually come near it as it is radiating heat....but still not the safest product for kids.....but the fine are not extremely hot.

Coil heaters can't be touched by hand. Definitely skin burns. In your video u have touched after switching it on. Agar microwave ki tarah lukewarm hora tho chalega but skin should not burn when touched. This occurs with coil heaters
