Curve for men is the fragrance I wore when I my wife fell in love with me. It remains the only fragrance she actually compliments on me. It will always be in my collection.
I have never smelled curve and just started collecting. I own about 30 frags so far. I'm thinking about buying a cheap bottle just for the oldie collection
Cool Water is the fragrance that got me into fragrances. No joke. My fiancée gave me a gift set last Christmas, and that sent me down the rabbit hole. Prior to that I had only ever owned (and rarely worn) Ralph Lauren Romance and Bulgari Aqua. .... I'd probably better hope she never asks how much I've spent on frags since then.
I love Nautica fragrances. I'm actually wearing one today (Blue Ambition). And sure they're synthetic, but for the price I think they're great. I think Voyage would be even more popular if they put on a different atomizer. And currently my son (10 years old) loves Adidas fragrances. They work great for him. Nice smelling but not overpowering, and if he accidentally drops the bottle we're only out like $6. lol
My signature scent was Gucci Envy. A perfume lady spayed me as I walked by and said "Gucci Envy". Annoyed I walked away, I came back a few hours later and bought it. I've never smelled anything like it since. It starts with a strong warm spicy aroma mixed with citrus. It then evolves into wood scent while still staying warm and spicy. It did all of this without the strong smells of amber or oud. And was never too sweet.
Actually you can see it at Ross... Ross buys tons of stuff from stores going out of business, buying back stock from other major stores or outlets. Then sends products to warehouses that distributes to the the stores. Brand protection is a bit of a myth when a store goes out of business and sells off everything. Just because you haven't seen it at your locations doesnt mean others dont. Have a co-worked that bought it from ross.
My high school fragrances were Ted Lapidus, Obsession for men and Eternity for men! They were the bomb in the 90’s! In Brazil, also Stiletto , from Boticário!
Just discovered you while browsing Amazon and now using your videos for info. First of all, thank you. More importantly, I just want to say I love your take on the pheromone sprays. You described exactly what I was thinking!
Huge fan of curve and Nautica both great scents for men. Will be buying them for my son along with Guilty by Gucci. Right now he uses Hugo Boss and Adidas Moves. (My son is 6 and loves his colognes.) I use the original Curve for women. Its definitely my everyday regular when I am on the go to go out and have fun. It's nice and cheap and been using it and Ralph from Ralph Lauren since I was a girl. Now a days I do throw in Bright Crystal from Versace.
You mean Curve WAS the OG and cool. Now theres so many bad reviews on Amazon claiming they got a fake when they just got the New watered down formula. You're lucky if you get more than 30 min. performance from it now 😆 I got rid of mine after spraying 10 sprays at a time. Nothing like the old version. They dilute the formula to make more profit and get people to buy the newer frags that last longer.
Adidas Moves was my signature scent senior year, a girl I dated around the time loved Curve and Cool Water I wore to my X's prom. People still wear these?? I'm almost 40 🤣
Hi there, I’m 13 and just got curve as my first perfume (recommendation from my dad). Believe it or not it still pulls compliments, probably because people my age haven’t really ever encountered this fragrance before.
When I started looking at different fragrances it quickly became apparent that Amazon was not the place to buy your fragrance. The prices aren't that great, and with 3rd party fulfilment you don't really know if you're getting a fake. So, I can see older and cheaper fragrances raking pretty high on Amazon and something like Bleu de Chanel and Dior Sauvage not ranking as high as they would otherwise.
@@tauntonengine3 how long since you've got it back? I assumed it won't be back 100% right after but I hope it eventually will, even if it takes a few months
A new idea… Upgrade fragrances. If you know Curve works for you or your significant other loves it, here are some mid-range and high end (more natural smelling) upgrades to consider which have the same scent accords. Like I know Curve for men and other entry level fragrances smell synthetic… let’s upgrade them. What should we get?
I'm old but just starting with some fragrances. I got Curve Wave and I'm wearing it around the house. It's clean smelling and quiet, but doesn't last long so I don't think I'd ever be in danger of offending anybody.
Surprisingly, compared to Dior Sauvage and Bleu de chanel's hype, not many people wear these fragrances around me. If you are into fragrances, you know or own them but if not, people just go for cheap, easy and fresh ones
I recall Azzaro Chrome used to be in the top 10. Never liked it. Wife got me a huge bottle of Nautica Blue when we were still dating. I only used it two times. She saw the full bottle when we moved in together after getting married. She got mad at me. My signature scent was.....Quorum. I just ordered 10 travel sprays from Fragrancenet. 37% off is back! I just ordered the following travel sprays: Angel Men Pure Malt Versace Dylan Blue Bvlgari Man In Black Versace Eros Flame Parfums De Marly Herod Parfums De Marly Pegasus Armani Si (for the wife)
I'm not surprised at all at the #1 scent being Nautica Voyage I feel like that is the best scent in that market of the cheap whatever it smells like cologne scents. Which really is the mass market just something that smells cool doesn't really smell like anything but it nice and doesn't cost over $50 bucks. Which a lot of folks feel is too much to spend also which again comes back to Voyage being at the top of the list!!!. I'm also not surprised that Bleu De Chanels and Sauvages aren't anywhere on there because those are the people who probably like to get dressed and go out and are a bit more aware of fragrances and feel like they are in the upper level of scents rocking Chanel Dior Gucci etc. So they'll be at Macys buying!!!!

Surprising top ten in a way. Geared towards young segment of the population. Sauvage is maybe too expensive as pricing seems to be the main driving factor to buying together with « easy to wear ». I would have thought that Invictus would make the top 10. As for Bleu de Chanel, it is too expensive. Also, no JPG in this list.
I had a girlfriend that worked for TJMaxx and she said the reason behind it is, even if an employee watches you steal something, they cannot confront them.
I am surprised that curve is still going strong,it is the most recognizable and basic scent, almost a cop out fragrance, for someone that doesn't even try to explore the vast selection available.

its funny how subjective and when you let go of judging a scent based on how popular it was, how many people wore it, who wore it, how old they were yada yada...does it smell nice? do you like it? does your spouse or SO like it? then wear it. It just works, its like a classic car...its just cool. Least my wife thinks so...and thats all that I care about.
'Light Blue' and all that: Pepper and Grapefruit... What a sickening combination that is. I mean, really? In fact, Pepper, altogether: Yuck! Why? Are they trying to say 'Hey, try me out, baby. I am really spicy guy'! Who decided pepper should be in fragrances? Who wants to smell like a cheese toastie? When I go out to eat, I don't want to smell like the soup.
