Was in the upper level as a kid in June 1973 Sunday afternoon double header Atlanta stadium, Cubs won the first game Braves win the second game, remember Ron playing in the second game, got a hit, and the camera people instructed us to wave on cue we were on WGN television back to Chicago, wonderful time in life, Ron would be a WhiteSox the very next season, thank you, Billy
I was 6 on 5/12/68 when I went to my first Cubs game. Sat in the second row, right behind the Cubs dugout. My heroes: Santo, Banks, Willams, Jenkins, Kessinger, Beckert, Hundley …
I was never interested in baseball cards. But I found one in a drawer after we retired and moved 5 years ago. It was Ron Santo's. Apparently, I had it since I was a kid.
As a lifelong Ron Santo fan, that was excellent.
Cool! I was huge Cubs fan growing up suburban Chicago 60s-70s thank you
An outstanding player and excellent human being.

Retrosheet ranks him as the No.1 player of the 1960's and of having better season than the AL's Triple Crown winners.
Ron should have been elected when he was alive. I wish I located the ones who kept him out.
He so doesn't belong in the HoF.
