Thanks for posting, we as a family used to stay in a caravan at Beesands, think the caravan site was called White sands which i remember being near the beach.
Im guessing its where all that grass is with the road going through it.
Remember walking to the lighthouse as a kid.
Happy memories gonna head back there soon in my camper.

    Oh My !
We found 'Beesands' many many years ago and used to stay in a mobile home, can't remember the name of the site, however we went there for a few years, it was pretty cheap and the beach was wonderful! Great holidays if the weather was ok 💕.
I remember a storm one night and I got scared because the site we were on was very near the beach, but it was all ok. I stayed up and waited in case the sea came up to far and would have to to drive home quickly.

Great video, thanks for posting, I will be down there tomorrow for first time, before moving on to wild camp on Dartmoor.

Came here on a family holiday years ago when i was about 8 years old. I remember fishing that triangular shaped lake.......never caught anything though. My Dad was always one for choosing oddball places and whilst my mates families went off to Butlins, my parents would drag us off to some obscure remote place, often a caravan in a farmers field (the caravan lit by gas mantles!). Looking back i'm glad my Dad was like that though and protected me from the horrors of Butlin camps!! It gave me a love for the country and sense of adventure which during my later years had me traveling extensively mainly in East European countries as there was less chance of Brits being there!
