I want to become a part of this faith almost exclusively because of it's breakdown of racism. I mean truly getting rid of racism and the possibility that I could have friends and family of a different race. On a day to day basis on a profound level. That would be a dream come true!

I was born into a family who were not affiliated with any religion. My paternal grandmother slept with a Bible under her pillow, but she attended no church. I was a seeker for many years until I became a Baha'i on February 13, 1971 that's over 42 years ago. The Faith gave me my life--it is my life.

New Baha'i. German and Cherokee and Choctaw Native American. Atheist anti-religious upraising who discovered spiritual truths in my late teens. Had a period of profound spiritual insights that led me to a set of beliefs that were already in complete accordance with the Baha'i faith before I recently discovered it.

I declared myself a Baha'i about 2 weeks ago, at age 63. My husband and I live in a rural area and we have to travel a couple of hours to get together with other Baha'is. We went to one outdoor gathering and I have never felt so accepted and unjudged. It was joyful. I first found out about the Baha'i faith in my early 20s but did not pursue researching it until recently. My loss! I LOVE that all people are considered equal, even mentioning women and men. My husband had introduced me to the Mormon church and I had become a Mormon for a couple of years. The church is very patriarchal, although most of the members don't recognize that. It also does not encourage individual, independent research; in fact, it is quite discouraged to read anything that is not put out by the church I love Baha'i. Hubby left the Mormon church but I don't know if he will become a Baha'i, but he is supportive of me.

I have been a Bahai for 50 years and it has helped me become a more loving and peaceful person. I thank God for sending a new messenger that has freed me from my carnal desires. And enlighten me to my spiritual self. Now I do not need alot of material goods to be content or happy with my life.

The Bahai Faith is the only religion that I know that accepts all of the religions and discourages religious fanaticism. I have found the most beautiful writings on the soul written by the founder of the Bahai faith.

I am an Ivorian living in Mali. I am baha'i and very proud to be among those who have accepted the new message for the new era. I like these words that resume baha'i vision : "The earth is but one country and humankind its citizens." It is also said in baha'i faith that : "We all are the flowers of the same garden, the fruits of the same tree..." It so marvellous !

I am a Bahai too! I love too see other Bahai video's...one day the world will understand divine unity and that all of God's Messenger's serve the One True God, to educate mankind about Him and to reveal His will to us ( mankind ) so that we will worship Him in spirit and in truth throughout history. The same religion of God, but in a new name in each age...which test the believers and requires search and prayer to recognize. I LOVE Baha'u'llah!!!

I am a Baha'i and have been for 37 years, however I have also a profound love for my Buddhist Hindu and Muslim friends, evensome Christians who however I experience still as somewhat closeminded, not withstanding that I myself was an Atheist and found it very difficult to develop love of God and discovering th value oif Prayer for myself. I find the most fascinating is the fact that wherever you go and travel on this planet is the fact that you are always within the Baha'i family in no time

    I AM A BAHA'I.
I shared a room as a student nurse with a baha'i girl 1976. She Kept yapping about this Bahai Faith, mentioning Baha'u'llah. She invited me to evening talks about the Baha'i Faith. Every time there after I heard her say something I said to myself " there she goes with this Indian religion of hers!!!, I think she is lost.
I am now a baha'i and I know I am not lost. Baha'u'llah found me i am so happy and rock solid Baha'i since1983. Thank you Baha'u'llah

Baha'u'llah explains that we are like flowers and fruits of one garden; with different colors and perfumes and ideas and that makes the world richer and more beautiful. Baha'is believe in Unity in Diversity - with all kinds of constructive but harmonious ideals which are conducive to creating a better and more peaceful world.

It's a bit different. While we do believe all major religions are from God, we do have our own distinctive beliefs, laws, customs, etc. We are completely separate from Islam, Christianity, etc. We still love and respect them, but we are separate. Like a sequel in a movie, a new album in a line of albums from a musician, Think of it that way :)

I'm a Baha'i. Yes, theoutmoreproject, God is the unknowable, and therefore only known through His Manifestations in every age--through Krishna, Zoroaster, Buddha, Abraham, Moses, Jesus Christ, Muhammadand now, the Bab and Baha'u'llah for this New Age. He is the Unknowable Essence, and yet not the edge of edges but everywhere--closer to us than our own life-vein.

Yes, this video is a little old, about (16 years old), however, the beliefs are the same and will never change. The Baha'i Faith is growing at a stunning rate all over the planet. If you haven't already accepted the Baha'i Faith, you can call the number mentioned on the video. There are also more videos to learn more about the Baha'i Faith on RUclips. (July 31, 2015)

I know this video is very old, but I am looking for some help. I have came to odds with my Christian background. In today's world I feel trapped by the constant hatred circling in my community and I have always felt that God speaks through many people and in many different ways. I feel so much more connected to the Baha'i teachings. But I have no one to connect with, to find more. I want to find out more and become part of this oneness. Thank you and blessings on you. :)

+Nate Rieger . I wonder if you have found any Baha'i to connect with since you posted you request " 6 months ago " ? Can you go to my facebook , name "Grace Shahrokh" and leave message in message box regarding if you have connected with a Baha'i after you posted your comment.

+Nate Rieger Best tip i can give is: Don't fear thinking about the real scary stuff, try to agree with the sick and deranged. Taste it, spend time alone not talking, in body or spirit, and make you're own opinions. Alone and uninfluenced can give new perspectives. Dare to stand in it, and don't fear having opinions. Some people will try to control you with fear, ignore them, it's only ignorance camouflaging as wisdom. Worked fore me, i started getting vivid more real images of what felt true and real, fore me. You may end up in a strange place, but i'll guarantee you will feel more happy and safe :) I'm sure you're done with this question by now. Good luck :)

You know, friend, that a Baha'i accepts and believes in all the past stages of religion, that "All the Prophets proclaim the same faith." It is true that culture colors the initial appearance of an emerging religion, but the religion itself transcends culture. I went through stages from being raised Christian, to Buddhist, Hindu, Native American beliefs prior to recognizing the Baha'i revelation. "This is the changeless Faith of God, eternal in the past, eternal in the future..."

in reply to WHAT, I should say, WHAT? indeed! Reading the Bible, not theories of churches and priests, and trusting in Him, asking Him to guide our hearts, He will show us the way..."As ye have faith, so shall your powers be"
    . With love,"
