We did the Roosevelt Tram at night & it’s so much better as the city looks incredible at night with all the lights 🤩 We got some amazing pics of the city & then made our way back. We’ve been lucky enough to experience NYC in winter, spring, summer & autumn & they all have their own special magic - although summer was extremely hot & humid (we’d flown up from Florida & it wasn’t any cooler! 🥵) My favourite ever thing to do in NYC was a doors off helicopter ride over Manhattan with FlyNyon - definitely recommend this company as they were brilliant & having the doors off & being able to dangle our feet out over the city was absolutely incredible! 💖
All you Brits seem to cone here during the worst weather ❄️🥶 🌧️☔. Come in the summer 🌞 ⛱️🏖️ just a totally different and relaxed vibe. New Yorkers LOVE the summer!!!

Trump tower. Seriously? Why? Hudson Yards is way better. Roosevelt Island Tram is mostly for commuters, not tourists, although tourists do take it. During the holidays, you should should buy Broadway tix well in advance. You could also consider off- Broadway as a number of shows later transfer to Broadway. It takes more money to mount a production on Broadway than on the West End which is why the prices are higher. That said, some Broadway prices are ridiculous! You’re killing me with the chain restaurants. So much better to eat local. Thanks for the Dyker Heights views.

Everyone has their own preferences when it comes to NYC spots and as a Brit, we typically have a bucket list that includes chain restaurants, but yes, exploring local eateries is always a treat and guaranteed better food quality!
